Os'Gabella's Motives

I was thinking of that, too, Avazh. But then it occured to me that the place Nemed is being held is not actually the palace, but the Blair of Lacuna. The palace just has a portal leading to whatever dimension the Blair is located in. And as Os'Gabella cannot die and is a master of Dimensional magic, even if you kill the Sheaim, there is no stopping her. She can just teleport back to the Blair and keep torturing Nemed.

I thik the sheaim hero should be Os-Gabella an immortal archmage with the torture nemed spell and starts with dimensional 3. THen when you bring armageddon, Os-Gabella dies and you gain Abashi with whatever experience Os-Gabella had in life.

Very cool and flavorful idea. But what's with Tebryn then? Tebryn trying to free his soul from Ceridwen grip? Hmmm a very hard target. Seems quite impossible to me. On second thought Sheaim just winning with AC 100 probably would just be enough for both leaders. Or if you want them to do something for it: Sheaim could gain control of all Riders that still exist .

Having a true immortal hero like that would be way overpowered. No form of Immortality in FfH is good enough to really represent her form of immortality either.

I don't see any reason why Abashi's experience should be based on Os-Gabella's.


I'm rather liking having the Sheaim hero be a dead archmage from the Age of Magic, which has a world limit of 0 so that it can never be built, only ressurected. In my version now their Hero is Malchiavic, who starts with Unholy Taint and Twincast in addition to Channeling 1-3. I also made the Sheaim unable to build the Shrine of the Champion though, as it would otherwise be availibl from the start.

I must agree it fits the Sheaim much better!! Although, 20 Adepts for a hero is too little, but I am sure MC will calculate the hammer cost and the required time for the ritual to have everything be alright!

Yes. None of the dragons count as civ heroes in my version, but they are still only available to the peoper civ. They are also much stronger. Since they count as tactical nukes, the Stir from Slumber ritual (which is no longer civ specific, and doesn't automatically create Drifa for whoever builds it) must be completed before any dragon can be built.

In my version ressurection would bring back Herne or Malchiavic instead of Eurabatres of Abashi, so ithe spell would be of use before Divine Essence. As it is, the spell is essentially useless to them. The dragons can still be revived, but through a different spell. Whenever any dragon dies it leaves behind a Dragon Bones unique feature that procides that apprpriate mana type. (It is removed if the dragon is brough back in any way, including being captured instead of just killed) After the stir from slumber ritual is complete a civ with Divine Essense can cast a spell on the dragon bones' tile to revive the appropriate dragon. While Abashi, Drifa, and Eurabatres can only be revived by the proper civ, Acheron can be revived by any civ, still as a barbarian unit.

The main point of adding the hero was so that this spell wouldn't be useless to them.

Dragons don't change allegiance at all my way, apart from the beastmaster thing which is unchanged from vanilla FfH. Only Acheron can be revived by a civ other than the one that built him, and he will serve the barbarian state no matter who brought him back.
