I have been playing Civ IV for about a month on a laptop with Centrino chip, 500mb ram, ATI 128 mb video card. Never a minute of problem.
Twice in the past two days, the game crashed to desktop out of nowhere. got message, "...has performed an illegal operation and must close."
I immediately relaunched the program each time and found the nearest auto save and continued to play.
I ran virus scan with latest update and found nothing.
Any ideas ?
