I, for one, think that the best time to declare a revolution is the instant that GCA has been removed from Port Blacksand. It'll mark the practical end of the offensive war for the moment, making it the best time.

EDIT: So I'm a bit out of date. Sue me. We should wait a few more turns, just in case GCA pulls something funny.

I think we should go to Republic as soon as we get peace with GCA. This might involve a little diplomacy with GWT.

In other news, I agree with Oct that we should wait a few turns to make sure that GCA doesn't have any more tricks up their sleeve, then try a switch to Republic.
