I really should have told someone about you ATPG.

Also you made a miscalculation if there was any doctor full stop they would have protected me since my ability meant all night moves went on me
Well, you didn't, and the miscalculation would have been to leave you alive. Remember, the earlier in the game it is, the lower the odds of there being a doctor and provoker together at the same time. And we were able to calculate that there was a maximum number of possible power roles alive at that given time, and waiting would have increased the odds of there being two.
You also have to gamble that there's a doctor out there to use your provoker power, otherwise that's pretty much a death sentence. So the move to destroy you that night wasn't a miscalculation; leaving choxorn alive was pretty much the only real miscue and that was more of a 50/50 call anyway, not knowing he was the roleblocker and not wanting to have either too many paired masons left or too many power roles alive at once led BL to decide scanning was more important. Would have been a safe move if choxorn hadn't targeted one of us.
Although it was the incorrect move, with the data available it was still a plausible and intelligent move.
Thing is, mafia is a game which is always the town's to win. With perfect play, and our play was nearly perfect here, on the mafia's side, town can still win.
You guys had a great game but there was no miscalculation on our part. We gave you a solid, nearly flawless performance and the moves we made were as close to optimal play as you could ever expect. If town lynches the mafia 1, 2, 3, it doesn't matter if the moves we made were correct.
The game setup here also renders a safe endgame situation nearly impossible. The mafia will always be facing off against either mason teams, or power roles such as doctors, blockers, "wound"-ers, and other such kill-stopping powers. So you'll either have to not kill on some nights, leaving masons alive, or you'll have to generate more power roles. Keep in mind that the mafia also couldn't know which powers had already been claimed, so we couldn't claim to be power roles unless we wanted to risk being counterclaimed, unless townies such as yourself were gracious enough to blab your abilities.
CBlackadder, if any miscalculations were made they were on the town side. Read our quicktopic. Do you know how much free and damaging information you folks gave me? I was playing you guys like a fiddle and it wasn't even hard to do.
Doesn't matter, the game setup here with the multiple non-mafia nightkillers and everyone being a mason and not knowing which power roles were already claimed and having basically murderproof roles almost every night of the game out there meant that even with much, much better play than the town, we can and likely will still lose.
How was the serial killer supposed to win in this setup? Answer: He doesn't.
Town, the bad guys totally kicked your butts in this one. Your play was not that good to be honest. You had perhaps one good play of the game which involved choxorn and Gamez finding each other, and one lucky shot with your roleblocker. Everything else that you did was either forced, i.e. 2 mason pairs versus a lone mafioso, or done by the serial killer.
Everything else was a serious mistake or a misplay. But that's the nature of the game, since town is largely in the dark about what's going on. Town only really needs to make one or two good plays, and it happened. But in all honesty, there were some rather bad examples of miscalculation from the town side. Y'all shouldn't have shared all that information with me, because in another situation, Backwards Logic would have had an ironclad, rock-solid alibi which was provided for us by you or classical hero. You wouldn't have lynched either one of us, you got saved by choxorn on that. So thank choxorn for the win.
Good game.
