Palestinians have one of the oldest, largest, and most peaceful Christian communities in the Middle East.

"Israel" has a history of fiercely anti-Christian antics.

So, now Palestinians are christians?

News to me.

As for your "fiercely anti-christian" allegation...sorry, I dont buy it.

Apparently all I can say its it takes a jew to convince a catholic like Inq to climb into bed with Islamic Terrorists.

Christianity is one of the religions practaced by ethnic Palestines. However, the majority of them practace Islam.

Actualy, its not news to me since Palestinian people that practace Christianity are a minority. I would pull up a wikipedia article on it, but then Inqvisitor would cast it off as irrelevent and bias

Oh well, who gives a flying willy if Inqsy dismisses it :p, here is the article about the ethinc people themselves. Wikipedia article on the Palestinian Ethic Group

The Jews and the Palestinians have been at war over that part of the map for more than a thousand years.

It's gone so far back that nobody can really say for sure who has "first claim". If there is such a moral imperative as "first claim", then the only land the human race can lay sovereign claim to is a little slice between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

I side with Israel, because when they kill people, they at least make a half-assed effort to avoid killing innocent bystanders.

When Hamas kills people, innocent bystanders are usually the intended target.

Well, the lunacy of the OT aside, I very much can understand how the Palestinians would feel.... for right or for wrong. Essentially, the Western World gave their "country" to the Jews post-WWII out of a Holocaust-guilt complex.

Again, not saying its right or wrong, just that I can understand their Point of View.

You should look at other articles in the onion, just to be clear.

First of all..there was never a country of "Palestine". Secondly, a virtual ton of jews also lived in the region, and have lived there for centuries, its not like they ALL moved there in the 1950s. Third, the Palestinians are the Irish of the middle East....no one wants them in their country as the are just too much trouble to deal with. One of the reasons they all congregate in Isreal, is they actually get treated better there then they do in Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon.

Yet again I'm sickened by a raceist, anti-symetic, bigot, religious fanatic.

Commentarius: Fifty-eight years later, the racist Zionist entity is more powerful than ever and much of the Western civilized world is handcuffed to this entity. Why does the media not report of all the tragedy and mourning of this horrific day?

Mind watching your language?

Youre not the only one who is sickeded by a racist, anti-sementic, homophobic, bigoted, religious fanatic :yuck:. Best that we all just report this as a trolling thread and let the mods deal with it :yuck:.

Hey now! Bash all the ethnic peoples you want but don't you dare tread on the Irish. If the evil british would just give Irland back to the Irish they wouldn't need to go be in other countries. Besides if not for the rightous Irish the US and Australia would be less then half of what it is today.

Erin go braugh!

 :crazyeye:  :p :mischief:

That's why the Palenstinians were there before Israel was formed? Huh?

"First of all..there was never a country of "Palestine"."
The existance of a recognized state has nothing to do with a people's right of self determination. Since the area was under british dominion, of course there would not have been a country called palestine.

"Secondly, a virtual ton of jews also lived in the region, and have lived there for centuries, its not like they ALL moved there in the 1950s."
Yes, but they were a minority, which has nothing to do with their right to exist, but it does have a very large part to do with exclusionary practices and land usurping.

"Third, the Palestinians are the Irish of the middle East....no one wants them in their country as the are just too much trouble to deal with."
I fail to see how this is a point, but really, when you find one it'd be nice.

"One of the reasons they all congregate in Isreal, is they actually get treated better there then they do in Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon."
State organized oppression and terrorism does not exist on the same scale for palestinians anywhere in the middle east. Those governments are repressive to all their people, but not as genuinely racist, and genocidal as israel's policies.

LMAO and very sad for the banning the + sign in some school.

Palestinians are not a religious group.
Palestinians how ever are an ethnic group that the majority practaces Islam :D.

Also, they are not Mohamadieans, they are Muslims. Muslim is the proper and correct way to refer a folower of Islam.

I still dont buy into that anti-semetic messages youre posting up. To me, it seems that its treading ever closer to Godwin's Law.

We are unable to favour this Zionist movement. We cannot prevent the Jews from going to Jerusalem, but we could never sanction it. The ground of Jerusalem, if it were not always sacred, has been sanctified by the life of Jesus Christ. As the head of the Church, I cannot answer you otherwise. The Jews have not recognized Our Lord; therefore, we cannot recognize the Jewish people....
