Paradigm Shift Reboot! Queen of Culture 2

Yes! That was why I kept Hatty around to 1205AD! To make it a more entertaining game! Honest ;) Anyway, glad you like it. Off to work soon and I'll post the update tonight. I might also play another round as well since not much is going on except buildings.

Are cultural victories nerve-wracking? Let's find out with the latest installment of

Cathy Queen of Culture 2 - round 7 (to 1585AD)

I switch civics to Free Speech and Pacifism. I'd just been looking at the city screens and such as well, so this was a stroke of (non-)genius.

Civ4ScreenShot0431-1.jpg

Because...

Civ4ScreenShot0432-1.jpg

It had 1 turn lleft to go... So I did this next obviously...

Civ4ScreenShot0433-1.jpg

Thebes is 1 turn away from hitting 5000 culture. So next turn I will have an idea of when I can hit legendary.

Civ4ScreenShot0436-1.jpg

This is my 2nd best culture city

Civ4ScreenShot0437-1.jpg

And next turn I see that at this rate I will hit Legendary Culture for Thebes in 161 turns if I don't improve my culture output at all.

Civ4ScreenShot0438-1.jpg

I want more than 1 city building Taoists so I go for a monastery here as well. It will take 6 turns.

Civ4ScreenShot0441-1.jpg

And another Great Artist is born

Civ4ScreenShot0442-1.jpg

I finish optics

Civ4ScreenShot0447-1.jpg

And it's a toss-up between Printing Press

Civ4ScreenShot0448-1.jpg

And astronomy

Civ4ScreenShot0449-1.jpg

I go for astronomy, I only have a few villages and towns, and a quick caravel from Moscow to find the rest of the AI. My scout from 4000BC is ready in Moscow to look for adventure again!

Civ4ScreenShot0450-1.jpg

I get a random event. Do I want a couple of hundred beakers twards divine right, or do I want +4 culture for a monastery in my 2nd best culture city... hmmm...

Civ4ScreenShot0451-1.jpg

So here it is, my super monastery, +11 culture and +2 beakers.

Civ4ScreenShot0454-1.jpg

Cathy Queen of Culture 2: Round 7 part 2 (to 1585AD)

I've just built a market here, and start on the Hermitage. It has better production than Moscow. I run a priest as well to get a whole extra hammer, which does make a bit of a difference to the build time. This is a mixed bag GP city anyway, so if it does produce one it may be one of the 2 I need for a second golden age.

Civ4ScreenShot0456-1.jpg

Monastery finished in Yaroslavl', back to finishing the missionary.

Civ4ScreenShot0457-1.jpg

I start the Taj in Thebes.

Civ4ScreenShot0458-1.jpg

And I also notice that Moscow and Thebes are due to pop a GP on the same turn, I'd rather Moscow produced one first (not sure if it checks the capital first or not or if it just depends upon the amount of GPP overflow), so Captain MicroManagement decides to drop by. Also, I have been lying about Novgorod being my 2nd best culture city, Moscow is ahead and produces more culture per turn ;)

Civ4ScreenShot0459-1.jpg

So I slow Thebes' GP rate down to make sure Moscow pops a Great Artist next (it has a 100% chance of that).

Civ4ScreenShot0460-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0461-1.jpg

I need at least 3 more missionaries to spread Taoism to all 9 cities.

Civ4ScreenShot0462-1.jpg

So I get to work on more

Civ4ScreenShot0463-1.jpg

And more...

Civ4ScreenShot0464-1.jpg

This is where the cool cats hang out, aka 8000 culture.

Civ4ScreenShot0465-1.jpg

I want 9 Taoist temples as well...

Civ4ScreenShot0466-1.jpg

I've been cottaging this city a bit so I go for a market.

Civ4ScreenShot0467-1.jpg

I finish 9 Jewish Temples this turn so I can build my 3rd Synagogue (in Moscow). I am aiming to build this city up to high pop and run a load of artists to squeeze out another GA from a non-GP farm city. It's growing so fast I don't even need a granary yet...

Civ4ScreenShot0468-1.jpg

Thebes grows, so more micro is required to make sure Moscow pops the next GP.

Civ4ScreenShot0469-1.jpg

Lots of GM's get born around about now so I think I am beaten to Economics.

Civ4ScreenShot0470-1.jpg

Kublai is offering this deal, I need it for banking and guilds, so I go for it.

Civ4ScreenShot0471-1.jpg

My first missionary fails to spread Taoism.

Civ4ScreenShot0473-1.jpg

And Kublai will do this deal...

Civ4ScreenShot0474-1.jpg

But I don't go for it, I'd rather meet some more civs first.

Other missionaries are successful

Civ4ScreenShot0475-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0476-1.jpg

But I finish the university here before I start on the temple. I gave a mine in this city's BFC to Thebes to speed up the Taj, and look! I made a big arrow shape with my worked tiles too.

Civ4ScreenShot0477-1.jpg

I think I should build some troops now though, so go for a maceman. I have no idea why I didn't go for a longbow.

Civ4ScreenShot0478-1.jpg

I fail to circumcise the globe with a giant clipper

Civ4ScreenShot0479-1.jpg

Cathy Queen of Culture 2: Round 7 part 3 (to 1585AD)

Moscow becomes influential, but has a long way to go to being legendary. I need to build 2 cathedrals here and grow the cottages.

Civ4ScreenShot0480-1.jpg

So I start on cathedral #1

Civ4ScreenShot0481-1.jpg

Arrowtown starts on a caravel, to go in the general direction of the big arrow.

Civ4ScreenShot0483-1.jpg

And my scout, after having nothing to do for thousands of years, jumps aboard my first caravel.

Civ4ScreenShot0484-1.jpg

Just for a laugh I have a look at the power graph...

Civ4ScreenShot0486-1.jpg

That's not good!

I chopped the forest outside Thebes' BFC (to the Northeast, it has spice) to get some more hammers into the Taj.

Civ4ScreenShot0487-1.jpg

Just when you thought "This thread isn't as smutty or double-entendre filled as his dominatrix Cathy game", Willy pops up.

Civ4ScreenShot0488-1.jpg

That's 4 creative civs in this game so far (Hatty is dead now however).

Anyway, another missionary

Civ4ScreenShot0489-1.jpg

Tech situation, pretty good for backfilling

Civ4ScreenShot0490-1.jpg

Diplo situation.

Civ4ScreenShot0491-1.jpg

This is a pretty good deal, so I go for it.

Civ4ScreenShot0492-1.jpg

And we discover Holland

Civ4ScreenShot0493-1.jpg

Kublai is still 2nd place in culture so Willy hasn't been doing much of that it seems. Thebes is just racing ahead here.

Civ4ScreenShot0494-1.jpg

I go for another caravel here

Civ4ScreenShot0496-1.jpg

I start a Taoist Temple here

Civ4ScreenShot0497-1.jpg

This is the sort of thing Willy has guarding his city

Civ4ScreenShot0498-1.jpg

And my next great artist will arrive next turn.

Civ4ScreenShot0499-1.jpg

Cathy Queen of Culture 2: Round 7 part 4 (to 1585AD)

I have horseback riding and guilds now, Knights are pretty good for dealing with small pillaging parties, so I build a stable

Civ4ScreenShot0502-1.jpg

Another great artist is born

Civ4ScreenShot0503-1.jpg

And I meet Super Mario!

Civ4ScreenShot0504-1.jpg

So more diplo screen action

Civ4ScreenShot0505-1.jpg

He'll do this deal, I don't go for it

Civ4ScreenShot0506-1.jpg

I go for this instead, 2 useful techs

Civ4ScreenShot0507-1.jpg

And I learn Hammy is at War with Wang, another chance for a smutty gag later on I think.

Civ4ScreenShot0510-1.jpg

And Hammy's map shows me the Vikings are about as well.

Civ4ScreenShot0511-1.jpg

I adjust my EPs so I can at least see some demographics

Civ4ScreenShot0512-1.jpg

12000 culture on this tile now

Civ4ScreenShot0513-1.jpg

And Thebes is due another GP in 2 turns

Civ4ScreenShot0514-1.jpg

I concentrate on production in Moscow to get the Synagogue finished quicker

Civ4ScreenShot0515-1.jpg

Astronomy is discovered

Civ4ScreenShot0517-1.jpg

I go printing press next

Civ4ScreenShot0519-1.jpg

Because I think the GM has gone for discovering Economics first.

Cathy Queen of Culture 2: Round 7 part 5 (to 1585AD)

I stop playing after this turn because some stuff happens.

First, I miss the Taj, Wang has built it.

Civ4ScreenShot0523-1.jpg

Second, Kublai won the Economics race so no GM for me, so if I want Sushi I'll have to sacrifice 4000 culture from an artist to get it.

Civ4ScreenShot0524-1.jpg

Gunpowder is pretty cheap anyway

Civ4ScreenShot0525-1.jpg

I do this trade with Willy now astro has arrived. I wish I had marble when I was building the Taj. The wheaty goodness is good for health however.

Civ4ScreenShot0526-1.jpg

Culture update

Civ4ScreenShot0528-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0529-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0530-1.jpg

Next GP is due here

Civ4ScreenShot0531-1.jpg

If I go max culture without running a loss

Civ4ScreenShot0533-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0534-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0535-1.jpg

Here's the save...

Bummer on the Taj. I guess you are saving national Park for Thebes then? Or did Thebes already get two national wonders? Too bad about the GM from economics. Well, can't be helped now. Maybe it will be better to start spamming some units to get the power rating up. When I see Kahns power graph then I start to fear a little for your little country. But overall the land is shaping up and it shouldn't become to much of a problem to get it. Did you already switch to mercantalism?

Thebes already has 2 national wonders (national epic and moai).
Haven't switched to merc yet, I think a few civs have so it is probably a good plan.

I should get open borders with Kublai and Willy anyway.

Once the Taoist temples are built I'm going to spam longbows I think, and build a few galleons for coastal defence.

Ragnar is a bit of a worry too.

Well I played another round (to 1685AD). Finished all my cathedrals and raised a lot of cash so I think the win is in the bag due to everyone else being at war with everyone else.

I'll post the update tomorrow though I think.

EDIT: Of course, my main aim is to beat The Me in Team's 1920 win. I think I will ;)

Cathy Queen of CUlture 2 - round 8 (to 1685AD)

Goal for this round - stay out of trouble, finish all the temples and cathedrals, raise lots of cash for the endgame.

Kublai has some cash to spare...

Civ4ScreenShot0537-1.jpg

Everyone has "enough on their hands", but no-one has astronomy yet.

He'll do this deal... but I decide to wait a bit.

Civ4ScreenShot0540-1.jpg

Everyone I know is running mercantilism, so it is probably a good idea to change to that soon. Willy's favourite civic is Free Religion, so I'll probably gift or trade him liberalism soon so he goes for it cancelling my heathen diplo penalty.

Civ4ScreenShot0544-1.jpg

I do this trade with Willy anyway

Civ4ScreenShot0546-1.jpg

And because of the extra happiness I can grow Moscow a bit more

Civ4ScreenShot0547-1.jpg

Taoist bloke is finished here, time to build some longbows for defence.

Civ4ScreenShot0548-1.jpg

In fact, I have 3 missionaries now. I only have 1 city without Taoism though so that's what happens when you drink and play civ.

Civ4ScreenShot0549-1.jpg

Hmm, I get a Great Prophet from Thebes. I save him for now, if I get another non-artist (that isn't a priest) I can have a golden age. I could also build the Taoist shrine for +5 culture and +9 gold. I got 305 gold for failing to finish the Taj by the way.

Civ4ScreenShot0550-1.jpg

This is my best bet for a non-artist GP.

Civ4ScreenShot0553-1.jpg

I've just finished a stable here, more troops then, a Knight.

Civ4ScreenShot0554-1.jpg

I encounter Ragnar

Civ4ScreenShot0555-1.jpg

He's pretty backwards, and hasn't got optics even so his feared navy shouldn't be an issue.

Civ4ScreenShot0556-1.jpg

He doesn't like me because I have traded with his worst enemy.

Civ4ScreenShot0557-2.jpg

He's also running mercantilism.

Civ4ScreenShot0558-1.jpg

I skip the lighthouse for now here and get to work on the Taoist temple instead.

Civ4ScreenShot0559-1.jpg

More troops, my plan is longbow/crossbow/longbow/pikeman/repeat until rifling

Civ4ScreenShot0560-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0561-1.jpg

And here's Wang, the current score leader. I have met everyone now.

Civ4ScreenShot0563-1.jpg

He doesn't like me much either.

Cathy Queen of Culture 2 - round 8 part 2 (to 1685AD)

The whole world is in mercantilism, so I join them.

Civ4ScreenShot0566-1.jpg

Cities that aren't going to get a GP run merchants as their free specialist.

Civ4ScreenShot0568-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0569-1.jpg

Other cities run extra artists or work cottages as appropriate.

Civ4ScreenShot0570-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0571-1.jpg

I go for a quick galleon here

Civ4ScreenShot0573-1.jpg

Current diplo situation

Civ4ScreenShot0574-1.jpg

More defence

Civ4ScreenShot0575-1.jpg

I change my EPs around since I forgot to do this after meeting Ragnar and Wang

Civ4ScreenShot0576-1.jpg

So I can't see everyones power rating yet

Civ4ScreenShot0577-1.jpg

So more troops are built

Civ4ScreenShot0578-1.jpg

I build a workboat here to grab the whale

Civ4ScreenShot0580-1.jpg

The other coontinent is having a big war it seems

Civ4ScreenShot0581-1.jpg

And still no-one has astro

Civ4ScreenShot0582-1.jpg

And then the unreasonable requests begin...

Civ4ScreenShot0583-1.jpg

Even although Ragnar hasn't got astronomy, I don't go for it.

Next tech arrives...

Civ4ScreenShot0585-1.jpg

Which is pretty healthy for my economy

Replaceable parts next, I have some forests to lumbermill and I can easily get gunpowder in trade.

Civ4ScreenShot0586-1.jpg

Another Taoist temple is started

Civ4ScreenShot0587-1.jpg

And more troops

Civ4ScreenShot0588-1.jpg

Another temple is started

Civ4ScreenShot0589-1.jpg

Cathy Queen of Culture 2 - round 8 part 3 (to 1685AD)

Dodgy dealings in this section.

I haven't built a court here yet so I do that

Civ4ScreenShot0592-1.jpg

This is the current best gunpowder deal

Civ4ScreenShot0594-1.jpg

I take the deal. And then I trade liberalism to my pals...

Willy gets a great deal here

Civ4ScreenShot0597-1.jpg

Which improves my diplo standing

Civ4ScreenShot0599-1.jpg

And Hammurabai gets the best deal ever!

Civ4ScreenShot0601-1.jpg

I get open borders with Willy too, also to improve diplo relations.

Civ4ScreenShot0603-1.jpg

Kublai is prepared to trade me copper, but at a high price. I'm about to build Pagodas though which are built twice as fast with copper.

Civ4ScreenShot0604-1.jpg

I lower my science slider to get more GPT available to trade, and Kublai offers this more reasonable deal.

Civ4ScreenShot0605-1.jpg

It's worth it, so I take it. I will cancel after I have built the Pagodas.

Tech situation after the big liberalism trade/giveaway

Civ4ScreenShot0606-1.jpg

And Kublai is next with his unreasonable proposal, I decline.

Civ4ScreenShot0607-1.jpg

Time to put the copper to use

Civ4ScreenShot0608-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0609-1.jpg

Ragnar comes along and insults my civ, so I tell him to take a hike.

Civ4ScreenShot0612-1.jpg

I go for another stable here

Civ4ScreenShot0613-1.jpg

And grab the whale resource

Civ4ScreenShot0614-1.jpg

Willy has his UU, which can spark a surprise invasion, so it's good to try and keep good relations with him.

Civ4ScreenShot0615-1.jpg

Everyone is still at war, good.

Civ4ScreenShot0616-1.jpg

Another knight here

Civ4ScreenShot0617-1.jpg

And a longbow here

Civ4ScreenShot0618-1.jpg

And I am building the 3rd and last Pagoda now

Civ4ScreenShot0619-1.jpg

Cathy Queen of Culture 2 - round 8 part 4 (to 1685AD)

I need a court here as well

Civ4ScreenShot0621-1.jpg

Mongolia is here

Civ4ScreenShot0622-1.jpg

I use one of my spare missionaries to spread Taoism to Willy. (Jedi mind trick: change to Free Religion!)

Civ4ScreenShot0623-1.jpg

Next great person is about to arrive

Civ4ScreenShot0626-1.jpg

It's another great artiist. Willy changes to Free Religion as well!

Civ4ScreenShot0628-1.jpg

So Cathy has pleased Willy. That means I'm probably safe from the Dutch backstabbing me.

Civ4ScreenShot0629-1.jpg

Thebes will pop the next GP as well

Civ4ScreenShot0630-1.jpg

I chopped a forest to speed up Moscow's Pagoda

Civ4ScreenShot0631-1.jpg

Ragnar's turn to be unreasonable

Civ4ScreenShot0632-1.jpg

I can get rifling in 9 turns

Civ4ScreenShot0633-1.jpg

A quick grocer here to help with the cash accumulation

Civ4ScreenShot0634-1.jpg

Latest tech news, no-one is close to rifling

Civ4ScreenShot0635-1.jpg

So I drop the science slider to 0% to accumulate gold. I'll still be first to rifles I think. I build a knight here

Civ4ScreenShot0636-1.jpg

Power, a little better now

Civ4ScreenShot0639-1.jpg

Over at culture hill, the 4th artist waits. I'm earning 128 gold per turn while at 0% science.

Civ4ScreenShot0640-1.jpg

And I work as many cottages as I can at Moscow

Civ4ScreenShot0641-1.jpg

The first Pagoda is built

Civ4ScreenShot0643-1.jpg

Civilised jewelers might be worth founding. You've got 5 of the resources (4 gold without the trade and gems), which means it should produce as much culture as sushi. It also gives a small return on the maintenance fee. If you want to found sushi, you'd better start one of your no-culture cities to run lots of merchants. If you're going to run one or more of the corporations, don't forget to only spread it to your 3 legendary culture cities. And to a civ that doesn't go for a culture win of course.

Cathy Queen of Culture 2 - round 8 part 5 (to 1685AD)

I go for an aquaduct here

Civ4ScreenShot0644-1.jpg

Then change my mind and go for a forge. I will probably build culture here in a bit so the forge will help

Civ4ScreenShot0645-1.jpg

I go for a grocer in Thebes for health reasons

Civ4ScreenShot0647-1.jpg

I get open borders with Hammy so I can use my other missionary to spread Taoism, to see if he falls for the Jedi mind trick

Civ4ScreenShot0649-1.jpg

I am chopping all my forests not in BFCs now. I will buid lumbermills on forests in BFCs from now on.

Civ4ScreenShot0650-1.jpg

Not again...

Civ4ScreenShot0652-1.jpg

Yawn...

Civ4ScreenShot0655-1.jpg

I still haven't built a lighthouse in Moscow, so I start one now

Civ4ScreenShot0656-1.jpg

I start running more artists here

Civ4ScreenShot0657-1.jpg

If I were to go 100% culture, Moscow would be done in 111 turns

Civ4ScreenShot0658-1.jpg

And this would be the Novgorod situation

Civ4ScreenShot0659-1.jpg

And Thebes

Civ4ScreenShot0660-1.jpg

I can only afford to do that for about 10 turns at the moment though.

Anyway, I have built all my Pagoadas now, so I cancel the copper trade to Kublai

Civ4ScreenShot0661-1.jpg

If I go 50% culture

Civ4ScreenShot0663-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0664-1.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0665-1.jpg

And I have 4 artists for 16000 culture from great works, with more to follow presumably.

That's where I stopped.

Here's the save...

I don't think I'll need corps to win here. I think Chemistry would be a better bet so I can build frigates for naval defence.

Well this game is over now.

I'll do the write up tomorrow.

Lurkers may want to speculate whether I won or lost, and the date of the win or loss.

If I won, did I beat TMIT's shadow game of 1920?

If I lost, choose the manner of the loss!

Brownie points awarded to whoever gets the answers right!

Cathy Queen of Culture 2 - 9th and final round!

I dropped my scout from 4000BC off in Mongolia towards the end of the last round.

Civ4ScreenShot0666-1.jpg

And everyone else is still busy warring.

Civ4ScreenShot0667-1.jpg

Another Knight starts here

Civ4ScreenShot0668-1.jpg

And a longbow here. This city's cottages are coming along nicely as well.

Civ4ScreenShot0669-1.jpg

Since I am running the culture slider now, health is more important than happiness so I do this trade

Civ4ScreenShot0671-1.jpg

And this one, with a grocer sugar is +1 health

Civ4ScreenShot0672.jpg

And I can afford to sell off some of my luxury goods as well

Civ4ScreenShot0673.jpg

Another longbow or two

Civ4ScreenShot0675.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0676.jpg

World news: Ragnar capitulates to Hammy and is forced into war against Kublai

Civ4ScreenShot0678.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0679.jpg

I look for more trading opportunities

Civ4ScreenShot0680.jpg

And do this deal

Civ4ScreenShot0681.jpg

Disaster! More peace breaks out

Civ4ScreenShot0683.jpg

Ragnar has been hoarding his pennies

Civ4ScreenShot0684.jpg

Another pike

Civ4ScreenShot0685.jpg

The only culture buildings left to build in my big 3 are Taoist monasteries and universities (and castles, but rifling will obsolete walls so I won't be able to build them)

Civ4ScreenShot0687.jpg

Kublai techs democracy and goes for emancipation. The happiness penalty wont bother me obviously with my culture slider shenanigans

Civ4ScreenShot0688.jpg

And my, what a lot of boats you have Kublai

Civ4ScreenShot0689.jpg

Cathy Queen of Culture 2 - Round 9 part 2

This city is just spamming Knights

Civ4ScreenShot0690.jpg

And another monastery starts here

Civ4ScreenShot0691.jpg

And in Moscow

Civ4ScreenShot0694.jpg

A university in Thebes

Civ4ScreenShot0695.jpg

Longbow spam everywhere else

Civ4ScreenShot0696.jpg

Homer Simpson is born in Thebes

Civ4ScreenShot0697.jpg

And wThebes will produce the next Great Person as well

Civ4ScreenShot0698.jpg

Tech situation, 3 AIs have replaceable parts now

Civ4ScreenShot0699.jpg

Another Knight from stable HQ

Civ4ScreenShot0700.jpg

Less than 100 turns for Novgorod, it starts a university next

Civ4ScreenShot0701.jpg

I start a longbow, it will magically become a rifle after I discover rifling next turn

Civ4ScreenShot0703.jpg

Same here as well

Civ4ScreenShot0704.jpg

Homer joins the rest of the artists, who now have a Knight to protect them

Civ4ScreenShot0705.jpg

Rifling is discovered

Civ4ScreenShot0706.jpg

I go for Chemistry next, Frigates should be enough to discourage an AI invasion

Civ4ScreenShot0707.jpg

I find an Island which still has barbarians

Civ4ScreenShot0708.jpg

William offers this deal... it's a bit /meh

Civ4ScreenShot0709.jpg

So I renegotiate and this is a better offer

Civ4ScreenShot0710.jpg

Which I take, Willy is pretty chuffed with Cathy now

I pick economics next

Civ4ScreenShot0713.jpg

Cathy Queen of Culture 2 - round 9 part 3

I start my latest hi-tech military defence unit

Civ4ScreenShot0715.jpg

Hammy offers to trade world maps, but I'm feeling generous so I just give it him for free

Civ4ScreenShot0717.jpg

I have some rifles now, but more can't do any harm

Civ4ScreenShot0721.jpg

Civ4ScreenShot0722.jpg

Last culture build in Moscow. It's going to take a while

Civ4ScreenShot0724.jpg

I start another frigate here

Civ4ScreenShot0725.jpg

Thebes has built all it's culture buildings now

Civ4ScreenShot0726.jpg

So I hire more artists and build a frigate

Civ4ScreenShot0727.jpg

WOOHOO! A hut! This could be a job for Stoneage Steve the scout who is currently keeping tabs on Kublai's boats

Civ4ScreenShot0729.jpg

More peace breaks out

Civ4ScreenShot0730.jpg

Kublai and Wang are my main worries, but they are still at war with each other so good news there

Civ4ScreenShot0731.jpg

Hammy is first to communism and changes to state property/free religion

Civ4ScreenShot0732.jpg

Which cancels my heathen penalty with him, so he is pleased with me now as well

Civ4ScreenShot0733.jpg

Yes, more rifles

Civ4ScreenShot0734.jpg

Although with all the cottages here I build a bank

Civ4ScreenShot0735.jpg

I tech economics and then go for Miltary Science so I can build bigger and badder boats

Civ4ScreenShot0738.jpg

But until then, frigates are my boat of choice

Civ4ScreenShot0739.jpg

No, I don't care to help you in destroying the evil Koreans

Civ4ScreenShot0742.jpg

Kublai also offers me a deal, but I don't want to spend any money on techs

Civ4ScreenShot0746.jpg

And the next GP is... a great prophet. Downer. I already have a prophet near Novgorod so I will use him to build the Taoist shrine there.

Civ4ScreenShot0747.jpg
