Patch 3.19 won't install!

Hi all!

I'm having a problem installing patch 3.19. I go through the various installation windows, but when I click "install" the window disappears and nothing else happens!

I have Warlords and BTS running on Windows 8.1.

Version info:

Civ version: 317
Save version: 301
Build version: 3.1.3.1 (104717)
Build Date: Mon May 19 14:20:10 2008
Build: FINAL RELEASE
Mod names: none

I really want to play a game of the month, but without the correct version I am unable to open the save file.

Try installing Civ IV as per my thread in the top of this forum.

Is your CIV installation from disk or download? The 3.19 patch from CFF downloads is for the standard locations used by the disk version. If you have a download installation using a non-standard location (Steam for example), you have to get the 3.19 update from your download source.

I got the game from gamesplanet. I have logged onto their website, but cannot find any links to any patches. I'm now downloading the complete game again, hopefully the new download will also include the currently patched version.

OK, just uninstalled / re-installed using the newly downloaded file, but it does not include patch 3.19! Have messaged gamesplanet to ask for help.

Yay! Download link worked, I am now patched to 3.19!
