Have only had this happen with vanilla .61 but i've only got vanilla pbems on the go right now 
Not sure whether this has been reported also but if it has then the mods can go ahead and close the thread
Basically, if you open up a pbem file end the turn and then look around the map after the turn (say if you just finished BW and you wanted to check to see if you had any copper before the next turn came up), if you saw that you didnt have any copper so you thought 'oh crap i best start on IW' and set the tech to IW not realising that you had actually finished the game nothing happens.
However then if you load up another pbem save, one that is maybe earlier on its game lifetime where you were researching lets say fishing and didnt have mining/BW/IW anything, then your tech research will be automatically changed to the IW tech path.
Again its nothing major but just figured folk should know, especially MP'ers like me who just sometimes arnt very observant
