I keep expecting the breakout with each turn as those 40+ stacks seem to grow by ten each turn!!!!
Hopefully the French situation has eased things a little for our Russian Comrades????

Redman used to be a steady player but lately he must be quite busy because he's taking quite some time to make his moves.

I think that waiting a week is the minimal time before replacing somebody, so I'd suggest waiting a few more days.

Meanwhile, I'll try to talk to him and see if it is expected that he'll continue to be busy or not in the future.

I understand. We all have "real life" issues that intervene with our plans to dominate the world.

But when you have long periods of work, examina, family matters etc please post in this thread so that we know. If we need to be absent for longer times +2 weeks it might even be worth it to let a close ally play your turn to avoid stalling the game.
I´m still afraid we will end this scenario around 2018...

After completely encircling belgrade, austrian armed forces assaulted the city and despite the defenders' will to fight captured it easily. 2 italian MG's and 4 Infantry units were killed in the action, while austrian losses were 1 flamer and 1 cavalry unit.

At the seas, one italian DD sunk near lecce.

DD sunk sub north of El Alamein. Lost 1 DD.
Royal Navy destroyed some farms near Smyrna and bombarded units near Port Said.

English Channel
Usual bombardments of French\Belgium cities occur. Some Admirals got sacked after it became evident that they can't count!!!

Europe
Zepplins killed 1 inf unit in Ypres.
English Corps killed 1 German Inf near Venice.

We bombarded Galatz with artillery and 3 korps attacked and killed 6 russian inf.

Korp killed 1 MG unit in Minsk after bombardment.

Korp killed 2 defenders in Pinsk after bombardment.

Some russians left their artillery unprotected south of Petrograd.
We killed 4 inf and 7 artillery in that area!

France&naval actions

We sunk all the british armoured cruisers that were lost at sea outside Ypres.
( I know that feeling Luthor, I´ve been close to making the same mistake myself many times and I did leave that BC outside London many turns ago)
No german losses in that sea battle, most british ships bombarded to 3-4 hp and then attacked with BB´s.
French DD sunk german DD in the channel
German light cruiser sank french wounded DD
German light cruiser sank another french DD

German R inf killed british R inf outside Calais after bombardment from ships

German BB disintigrated russian sub in north sea

Zeppelins destroyed some roads in northern Italy

Zepp killed redlined british inf near Nancy

Zepps killed 2 french inf near Nancy

Zepps killed french MG and inf near Besanqon

south of Pterograd artillery damages a corp.

I am getting a little annoyed with the design of this scenario,
seige guns are in "the road to war" era, but the tech needed to
find steel, which is required to build seige guns is in the next era!

Also spotted a german squadron in the Baltic 4 tiles N of Memel:

Russian pre-dreds sometimes explode spontaneously.

lol and sorry. All were sunk by subs except in the Black sea and the Italian DD near Athens that were sunk by DD.
