They should have done so.

Most of the remaining darkness is close to other tribes territory,
or looks like it has been checked out already,
given other troop locations.

We can but hope, but suspect our scientists must now earn their corn.

Hey guys. I like to post a record of my development on turns that are multiples of 10. I do it because I like to look back at what I did in the past and to record other important events. I put it in a spoiler block as I would prefer that my opponents don't see it. I hope this is ok.

Spoiler Lurkers Only :

The plan is to expand as fast as possible since there is so much free territory. I would like to get the SoZ as well, since it does not require Ivory. (Too bad, as I do have Ivory.) Well, maybe not, as I really should use that production for real troops. Azzaman started the Colossus, which I also hope that I get. It will help my trade-poor starting location. I wonder if I should go for Philosophy. Note that I do have access to Iron.

The Hittites declare a Republic.

The first shameful acts of the new government are to disband a number of the brave scouts whose tireless endeavour brought us to this advanced state, as their maintenance cost becomes instantly crippling.

Prospects of the one tech remaining for us to find in this Ancient Age, recede hundreds of years into the future, as our finances are badly hit by this new regime.

With only a few percent remaining of our land mass to throw light upon, we shall shortly discard the remaining few, and withdraw into our borders to plot the slow path into the future.
