PCX Leader Head Trouble

Greetings fellow Civers...

I have run into a massive problem. I was curious, how DO you make your own (from scratch) "leader head" files in PCX format, when for some reason (for me at least), PCX formated documents are compatible in 2 colors! That's right, TWO colors---I don't know if it's my Paint Shop Pro 5 (if so, what program do you suggest?), or what, but I need assistance, this scenario project is throwing alot of curve balls at me...

Can PSP5 open vanilla civ files for you? If it can, which I suspect it to, it's just some weird setting in your copy of the program. I can't help you anymore with PSP, as I have Photoshop.

Vanilla Civ? Hmm, is this like the "basic" version of Civilization III? I've heard it used before, but am unfamiliar with it's meaning...

OK, like this then: Can you open any civ pcx's?
And yes, Vanilla means old plain civ3.

Sorry for the late reply, was caught up with strep throat, flue, fever, you name it---ugh---

I can open the PCXs, but they open up in this weird program I never use called Microsoft Picture It! or something, so I just redirect them to open in PSP5.
