PETA at it again

The one I love most about these radical animal rights groups is one that happened in a town near where I live a while back (Washington State)

There was a ferret farm, with thousands of ferrets on it that were raised. An animal rights group broke into the farm and released every one of the animals.

For the next few days, nearly every last ferret was gruesomly, painfuly, and slowly killed by cars.

You see, the feed machine used to feed the ferrets apparently made a sound very similar to that of a car, and had lights that were similiar. Attracted to the lights, the ferrets all ran for the cars, getting ran over by the hundreds and causing numerous car crashes.

PETA is always almost funny and then you realize these people actually buy what they're saying

I'm vegetarian [not including dairy, fish, and eggs], by the way, but it's just because I don't really like meat. I do enjoy the murdering fuzzy little animals part of it :satan: No, really!

This thread restores my faith in the people of this board. :thanx:

HAHAHAHA, oh this is great. These PETA guys are ttruly hilarious, almost like they are from another planet. So they actually expect this BS to be followed? Oh dear.

On a naive side note; what does PETA stand for? I know something about protecting animals, but I'm not exactly sure . . .

i believe it stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

That was my sig for a while. . . maybe I'll resurrect it.
This message brought to you by PETA - People for the Eating of Tasty Animals.

LOL, hehe, I like Turner's better. People for the Eating of Tasty Animals sound much better then some Ethical treatment baloney . . .

Something I saw on a classmate's shirt last spring

"How many plants had to die for that stupid salad of yours??"

Honestly, that's one thing I never understood about PETA. Or vegitarians, for that matter.

They say that they don't want to be a part of cruelty to animals. Yet they eat plants. Now, plants may not have a nervous system like we do, but I read somewhere about plants feeling pain. So do they not eat animals because they like them, or do they not eat animals because they hate plants?

Just found this link. While it states that plants don't have an emotion of pain (their term) there are mechanics in place that act just like the pain reflexes us animals have.

Fans of the old British comedy "The Goodies" will already be well aquainted with the evolution (devolution?) of the animal rights movement into the vegetable rights movement. Then of course there was Neil of "The Young Ones" who called for "vegetable rights and peace"

Such organizations are all over the world. Again a proof of the devolution of the human race. There are simply far too many of us.
Did someone mention a PETA BBQ? With PETA's as food, of course, for those who didn't get the point.

They really make me regret that I made a cheese and pickle sandwich for lunch, instead of a nice turkey and bacon one.

I wonder if the brutal manipulation of the cows to get the milk to make the cheese counts for anything? Tschoh!

The fact is, if I was roaming around in a free-range kind of way, and I had to kill a cow to make some chilli or whatnot, I'd be sharpening a branch in an instant. And while I was at it, I'd cull a few stoats to make cloak for the cooler evenings.

Whilst I'm on the subject, I always buy free range, for one major reason. The meat tastes much, much better.

My PETA acronym:
Petition for Extreme Testing on Activists.

Because animals do not naturally ride bicycles, stand on their heads, or jump through rings of fire, whips, electric prods, and other tools are often used to force them to perform

Gee really?

These psychos give veggies and vegetarianism a bad name:mad:

I am a vegetarian and I don't think that anybody who eats meat is a murderer etc. It is the personal choice of a person and depends on where they have been brought up as well.
