Okay. Okay. Okay. A bit late, perhaps, but it's good!
I make the suggested trade:
But I figure, since I have him dialed up, I might as well beg and trade. I beg Meditation and make the following trade:
Badam-tisch. Tech screenies, as if you haven't seen 'em a million times before:
Oh, but now we're at it, why not fulfill our Jewish round and beg of/sell to the others (pun intended)?
Qin:
... And beg moneys!
Bismarck:
... And complete failure to beg Corn!
With the gold and gold/turn, I dial Mach in 5 turns at 90% instead.
Boudica and Qin ends their war:
... And we speed up Mach even more:
Unfortunately, it doesn't cut the last turn. Still, Machinery a turn early isn't shabby:
I dial up Education, and slide down to 50% with a slight deficit, 15 turns to completion.
And here the good news end, because guess what:
Actually, I'm rather glad that this next thing happens. It could've been Pacal, but luckily our friend Qin has the intellect to build Chicken Pizza:
I just noticed something odd, though. It seems as if Boudica needs to work out some serious aggressions, pummeling barb spearmen with hordes of Chariots (which seems to be all AIs favourite units):
And finally, a tech overview. Qin had Philo open for trade earlier, but seems to have changed his mind. I think I should have struck, but meh, too late:
I built a Forge in the Engi city, and there are several things completed this turn, I just tenatively queued some things up. I've irrigated the artists and given em a shiny theatre so they can be happy. I suggest the next player gets some more units and starts sending the hammer in Pacal's general direction.
