If Obama does win, the country will be in such bad shape by 2016, if not destroyed by nuclear weapons, that we will get our pick of the best, most capable conservative so in the end, the next American republic will be a conservative Christian Republic. No way around it.

Well, nobody can tell the future, we can only identify potential scenarios and weigh them out. Look at what Mr. Morsi has done today in Egypt. This was certainly not the most expected path, but Islam is on the march and war is coming.

I actually reconsider the campaign points of the two main factors (Obama vs Romney)... because, like it or not, lesser of the two is all that matters in the USA.

I don't understand your aversion to voting against the 2 major parties. A 3rd party vote is a vote against the system, a vote against the source of much of the political gridlock.

Even if I were to vote for, say, Romney, I'd choose him on a 3rd party line if he were endorsed there.

It's a way to get more federal funding for multiple parties, as well as send a message of discontent.

So why reward the very system that's ill-serving you?

I just live in the now. I wish we had a multi-party system, but the two parties have locked it up via fearmongering (of which we see a ton of on this site by certain folks).
It's the reality in which we live... like it or lump it.
