The Egyptian War
The King finally ordered his remarkably unpopular war to go ahead, since he had long convinced his subjects of the immorality of other religions he didn't have to really have a reason for the war, simply point out that they weren't Christian and then wait for his flying monkeys to do his bidding
The Austrian government had decided to allow British troops passage through their lands, thus allowing the troops a chance to get to know the African terrain before they'd be forced into combat, they also took the opportunity to get friendly with the Fraulein in the settlement. however soon after war was declared and the forces were sent across the border
The First Shots of the war were fired by Nodikus's Naval forces who had been using Crete as a base of operations, they lost only one ship the HMS Defense and in turn sunk 10 Muslim vessels
meanwhile General Princescamp and General Tommygun had noticed that they had advanced to Cairo without meeting any resistance. Cairo itself had a healthy garrison however no matter how healthy it was Tommygun by himself had 5000 troops more than the Mameluks and easily captured the capital.
meanwhile problems began to appear on the front, The Mameluks had gone around British lines and recaptured Libya, thus cutting off the retreat into Austria, further an attack on Cairo kicked General Tommy out and regained their capital, attack after attack wore down the British troops until they were reduced to only Alexandra, however at that time something happened that British commanders didn't count on, Persia attacked the Mameluks while they were preparing a final blow on Alexandra, this forced the Egyptians to fight a two front war and surrender any chance of pushing the Brits back into the sea.
while Persia occupied their enemy, General Princescamp sent a message to the King requesting further reinforcement, and as a result General Swein and Admiral Junglecutter were deployed to fight off the Egyptian enemy, in a massive show of strength Admiral Junglecutter handed a defeat to the Mameluks at the loss of 3 Carracks, destroying 20 Enemy ships, likewise with the backup of Swein and Tommygun's forces General Princescamp beat the Mameluks to Gaza, because British Manpower was numbering around 75,000 and the Egyptian forces had a limit of 8,000 plus they were also fighting the Persians, it goes without saying that the line of recruits ran out very very quickly
and thus ends the portion known by the paradox gang, I will continue with part two after I've taken a break, I could use a drink right now
