I just looked at civstats and you have only missed 3 turns so far (650BC, 625BC, & 600BC) and 525BC started about 3 1/2 hours ago.

Unfortunately I'm at work, and will be out all evening. I can't get on until about 11pm GMT-5.
I wish I'd checked before I left in the morning, but I was rushing to catch the bus. Sorry guys.
As for the tech thing - I don't think so. Just careful observation and deduction based on what you see.
