Pit Boss Avalon game thread

IIRC, you can see what your enemies could trade if it wasnt for the no tech trading rule.

That, of course, is what I meant as well - under our current setup for rules, deduction is all you have.

On the Tech question. You simply ask your allies what they have, and they answer truthfully. I would admit just about to complete underground Nuke testing.....

There certainly is a way to see if your opponents are ahead in tech. At a certain tech level, tech trading becomes available. Of course if no TT is checked in options, its not allowed......but the tech trade screen still shows who will trade what techs,( you must have contact). You can see if your opponents are adavanced in tech, and what paths they have taken......but you only see the next available tech you can get...not the ones after it,(you can`t see how far advanced they are ahead of you). Thx

Are you sure about that?

From what I saw, when no TT is checked, then the diplomacy tech screen shows nothing but:

"Tech Trading is not allowed".

End of story.

Yes im sure about it....can`t remeber right now which tech you need, to tech trade......but when both parties have that tech and have met...the screen will show tradeable techs and say no "Tech Trading is not allowed". :)

Should be Alphabet. I thought I've seen it in other games at that point and NOT been able to see their techs.

Anyone? Anyone?

Fosse is on a business trip until the middle of this week. He posted that he was going to be away. I think he might have stuff queued up. I know for some of his games he was able to find substitutes to play his turns. He must not have been able to find someone for this one.
But he'll be back on Wednesday I believe.

He actually started a "Official Absence Thread" for people in multiple PTBS games. Which I think is a great idea. But haven't had a need to use it yet.

I'm getting the host timing out, and can't take my turn... which is important. :( And the next turn will happen before I get up in the morning. This sucks. I'll hopefully get a chance to go before namliam when I get up in the morning, otherwise it could be a rough double turn for him. :(

I can't connect either, with 4 hours left in the turn and its a pretty important turn so I don't want to miss it.
