Snotty was outside my city with 2 warriors and there was only 1 defending. i am gutted it took me ages to get onto a pitboss game and it is over already. Never mind it has taugt me a lesson.
Good luck everyoen with wiping snotty out!
You're not the only one. I still can't connect either.
He's going to have to do a reload once he gets the connection working again, since I won't be home before this turn ends.
You are going to need to go back to an older Save. You don't have enough time left on the timer for most of us to get in before the time runs out. I personally won't be home tonight until around midnight EST (05:00 BST). So I need almost 9 hours to be left on the timer. If the game had been up this morning before I left for work, I'd have been able to get the turn done.
in case you dont get my group message, I took george storrows during the last turn as is shown by the civstats tracker, and when I started the reload the random number genrator had moved so I failed to take the city!
understandabley Im not too happy with this. is there any way we can resolve this without having to reload?
Well I know in other games when there has been a server crash, or pitboss problem, or other network problem when a previous reload has had to be done and things changed then that's just how it happens. Technical difficulties will occasionally change the outcome if a reload has to be done.
Personally, I actually don't truly care if you guys decide to have Snotty "get control" and then killing the offending unit off. But I also sorta feel that things should just play out in this new alternate reality that was created because of the required reload.
Unfortunately I threw away the troops trying to take the city again, so I cant take the city quickly.
I can understand if the other players dont want to reload. I wouldnt have even mentioned it except losing an extra city at this stage of the game obviously makes a huge difference to my game. That and my accomplishment is recorded unequivocally in big red letters on civstats so its not like Im trying to pull a fast one.
You are not suppous to have the city on the first place.
This was in active player city and should be raised to provide a fair play for all other players.
we should have put city elimination on if razing was the rule. I made an early aggresive gambit with my aggresive civ, so my strategy + a bit of luck gives me an advantage. Thats whats civs about
