nope...I can see who has troops there and who hasnt...so I know who they are. Where they screwed up is first getting caught while I was on and not knowing that i had taken screen shots of the area for some planning and to look at their troop movements to see where they may be heading

rob if you are implying that i have been pillaging then yes i freely admit i have been, if you can record what and when then ill give you some gold to compensate it but yet again if you have a problem with me hows about you tell me in private first before telling the world. What I find laughable...is I have no shot at winning..but yet you and mauer and mel seem to feel I am a threat to win. You are wasting your time and effort on the wrong person.

I still plan on up holding my end of our deal BC...do you? Putting it in public makes sure that everyone here who has deals with you sees what you are a doing so they can decide how far to trust you....

I coudl have been using spies and attacking you to hinder your space race..but like Robi said to me. We have to play with these people in other games and that can only lead to ruining my reputation in other games. So now i guess we see if you plan on making things right between our civs or continue on what I consider a very dishonorable path.

ive been trying to pull my troops back for the last 2 turns but everytime i log in it shuts down so i have to shift enter the turns so you all dont have to wait longer for turns to change.

and i really wish you'd stop questioning what i agree on, if you dont believe id hold up the bargain why make a treaty with me, i havnt broken any deals so far, therefore naturally i would now.....

I would have had Apollo before the Mel war...except mauers attack made me switch civics and build que. I have Apollo now...and will be joing the race a bit late it seems.

The system is a P4, 2.2ghz, 500MB, with a cable connection at about 3Mbps down and 256Kbps up. I typically run the pitboss, civstats, opera / firefox, outlook, and civ4 / warlords. Warlords (pre-patch) has a memory leak so I normally drop the browser and email.

The pillaging "controversy" is actually a little funny, looking at it from the outside. As an interested bystander, I certainly see the point that it's not very friendly to pillage lands that another player will own in the future, but I'd also have to say from this neutral position that it's not technically an "aggression" and therefore doesn't really violate a treaty obligation for a "non-aggression pact".

I think that, recognizing that MP is a competition, it is not dishonorable per se to gain an advantage when possible. If you realize that "friendly fire pillaging" is a possibility, then get it into an agreement and you're covered. Other areas which warrant agreements in advance are how to divide up conquered lands, and near the beginning of games it is sometimes advisable to talk about settlement locations.
