Well I know when I went to the polls, a few others were mentioned as well. I won't divulge the names, but I can tell you that all of them are world powers right now.

Matrix...for me it was a combination of things...Your reputation, your relatively coldness/distanceness with diplo and that fact that an Early UU makes me paranoid.

@Matrix you were in a difficult position having a religion, being squeezed between 3 reasonably close and aggressive civs plus your experience in PBEM. Having experienced PBEM games gave you an immediate perceived advantage to a lot of players, myself included. Some people in this game have never pbem'd or pitboss'd.

And before i get too far off topic, Matrix founding a religion was not a factor in the decision. I asked many people on their opinion about which players would be dangers in the game. There were 3 names that were consistantly mentioned and Matrix was one of those.

Religion didnt mean anythign to me either. Its not like you can actually use it to influence your friends and the gold from shrines just isnt enough once everyone runs certain civics.

Hmm, giant battle shaping up between the North and the South. I'm from the North, but I hate Chicago. I'm not sure which side to join. I'll just hire out my services as a mercenary. If anyone wants my units on their side, just PM me. They will finish Russia soon and not have much to do.
