Check the ports that the patch says..that what I did and it fixed all sorts of connectivity problems for me. Things are almost instant in my hookup to Dave. Lets just blame Whomp..

I had issues....but now?
My pc is bursting with civ3 and 4 activity, tax time is over and the dog has recovered from the new prosthetic eye...stuff and things. I still have issues so it must be my fault. Without Furiey taking command of my game I'm destined to be taken advantage of now.

Apparantly, yes. When I tried to join a few minutes ago it worked . The Incans is now again under proper rule.

My civ is now a bit underdeveloped though, due to my temporary absence.

I did a bad thing. I signed Open Borders with Theoden while he was under AI rule, not realising that wasn't what Theoden himself might not have wanted it. Doesn't matter much since I didn't cross his land, but just so you know...

My machine crashed about 30 minutes ago. No idea why, except that I was trying to enter the game while someone was already there. That hasn't happened very much before, and might indicate my paltry 500M is not enough memory.

To be fair to the other player(s), I will need to delay restarting it until a PM gets answered.

Having received a quick answer to my PM, and after a couple of false starts due to pitboss remembering my pre-patch games directory (reloaded back to 1450 ), it is now active on the correct save.

This is a reload from autosave, if you did anything in the first 30 or so minutes of the new turn it will be reset.

Apparently a lot of hassle, but if you said nothing I wouldn't have noticed any difference.

Nevertheless, I do realize and appreciate the effort you're making for this game.
