I came across this game yesterday and I've never heard of it before. It's still alpha and early access and right in version 0.751, but you can get it for $25 and it looks pretty damn good for the stage of development that it's in.

The concept also seems potentially awesome - you get dropped off on a random planet, have to build a base, vehicles, explore, and fight giant death robots.

Planet Explorers is an open world voxel based sandbox adventure rpg game set on a distant planet. The game uses a new OpenCL system based on the Unity 3D engine to allow players to change the terrain in anyway, create new objects in any form, and do it anywhere.

In Planet Explorers, it is the year 2287, one of the first colony ships sent out by Earth arrives at the planet Maria, in the Epsilon Indi Star System. During its landing sequence, something appears in front of the massive ship that causes it to lose control and crash into the planet. Some of the colonists survive in lifeboats, but what they find is an unforgiving land filled with creatures ready to outlast the visitors from Earth. Now the survivors must explore, gather, build, create, fight, and ultimately, conquer the land.

The gameplay will be in 3rd and 1st person perspectives. Players will be able to customize their character, combine and create weapons, vehicles, and buildings. At the same time, players will have to defeat multitudes of enemies of varying intelligence and defend the remnants of the colonists. There will also be a mission system that features NPCs giving the player goals to achieve to advance the storyline. The game will feature a single player story line as well as random single and multiplayer adventure maps. Multiplayer will feature prominently in Planet Explorers.

Is anybody here playing this game? I wouldn't mind some first-hand feedback if so! I also haven't checked out the demo, but you can get it here. It's version 0.72, so should be close enough to the latest build, but I really have no idea.

So yeah, has this been on anyone's radar? And what do you guys think? Cause I don't really like adventure games where you run around like that and shoot giant death robots, but I think I might get this.

 I'm really bad at adventure game, I hope it is an rpg instead but seem interesting!

Never heard of that. Looks definitely interesting (although not beautiful).
I'd fear that this might have too many generic interactions and not enough special things, and that you'll just wander around killing things.
But I guess I should first test the demo before saying anything (not that I have the time...).

It seems to be an rpg adventure voxel open world game all rolled into one. Which seems dangerous, but the gameplay seems potentially awesome.

The graphics in voxel games usually kinda suck, I think anyway, this one looks decent enough for an alpha imo. I'm guessing that they're going to polish up the graphics a bit during the final stages of development too, at least I'm hoping so.

The adventure trailer is the best one to watch I think.

It does look pretty interesting. I even considered getting early access last night.

I heard about it quite a while ago. I get so excited about these sort of games, that I need to not follow their development... Especially with early access now, I'm always disappointed because I can't wait to play, then I get burned on a meh version of the final vision that seems to never come to fruition. Neverending development and promises... getting tired of that. So, I wait and try not to care too much. But I agree this looks pretty good.
