Hi everyone. Recently I tried playing a MP game with a friend of mine, just the 2 of us.
I hosted the game, we had all the expansions switched off because my friend doesn't own them. We chose to play on the same team against AI teams. The game would start up fine, but about 5-15 minutes in I would suddenly receive the message (approx.): "Player X [my friend] has left. AI will take over."
I called my friend by phone and he said he had the same message. We were both still in the game, but separately, we couldn't chat in-game, each of us was playing their own game with an AI team mate.
We tried loading up the game numerous times, always with the same result. We tried setting up a new game, but with the same result. Does anyone know what causes the problem and what could fix it?
