And what's wrong with flashing lights? Most posts aren't very witty anyway.
One more request: after the upgrade to vB 3.5, for a while we had the database thread marking system used to track which threads were read/unread, until the influx of Civ4 people came. I really like it and I think others did too - and it is much better than the cookie-based system used now. With the new server, is it possible we can switch back to database tracking?
