PM Notification Not Enabled?

I double-checked my user options to verify that I still had "pop-up notification" and "email notification" of a new PM, but nonetheless, a PM from Nov 21 and a few recent PMs produced no notification, either via pop-up or via email.

Has this been diasabled or might there be a problem?

It's working for me. I've been getting PM's fairly regularly since about then, and i've gotten e-mails every time...

Edit: And the pop up's from CfC were disabled a looong time ago.

I get neither an e-mail nor a pop-up (though I'm not suppose to get a pop-up).

PM notifications thru pop-ups were disabled once and stayed disabled because if we reenable it, we're going to get pop-ups for all PMs received in the past; a few at a time depending on the forum mood.

TF reenabled it once. The results were irritating. ;)

I understand the pop-up disablement, but has email notification ever been disabled? I expected a PM several days ago and actually proactively checked my user cp for a new message (which is how I discovered a long-neglected pm). I thought maybe my yahoo mail spam filter had filtered out the notification email, but just tested by sending myself a pm -- notification seemed to work fine (and wasn't filtered as spam).

IOW, seems to be working fine now, but definitely had a blip or two recently.

Not sure; you'll have to wait for a confirmation fr TF but I *don't* think we've ever disabled email notification on a semi-permanent basis.

Many people don't get emails. Your email provider/ISP is probably blocking Telefragged because they were acting as an open relay for a while.

If you try putting a different email in you may find it starts working again, but this I tried several emails before I got it working.

Also note you have to get all emails or none. If you want them for PM's you will need to send to a POP3 email so you can filter off the subscription ones (unless of course you don't subscribe).
