Anyone here play Poker? and if so what kind?
I started playing Hold'em a few months ago and Im really into it. I usually play with friends or online for very small anounts.

Currently no poker. Started playing Hold 'Em after watching Rounders ... and then stopped when everybody else started playing it.

Right now I'm honing my backgammon skills.

I play strip poker with supermodels. Sometimes I get a good hand, sometimes a bad, but in the end, everyone wins.
I understand. That's a nice fantasy. I'm sure your "hand' was very good. :D

I play Texas Hold 'Em on occasion.

I'll play Hold'Em occasionally, but as I'm not a betting man, it gets kinda stupid to do it all the time. I really hate this new craze where everyone plays it, talks it, and watches it on TV. Especially since there are card games that are so much more fun to play. Try Euchre for example. It's tricky to pick up, but by far the best card game I've ever played.

I play Texas-Hold 'Em with other people occasionally :).

I play Hold'Em and Omaha mainly. I played a bit online but it was just incredibly dull, despite making a small profit, so I mainly just stick to my uni's poker society now, where I can actually get to see players faces.

I started playing Hold'em while I was working for the summer in...
...Texas! They were showing the World Series on ESPN and then I started playing online at work because my job was boring. I only play for fun (no money) and online gets a bit dull after a while. A lot of my uni mates are playing now and our floor's kitchen is perfect for poker. I got a table top and chip set for Christmas so we have some awesome nights.

It is tricky to start, it's very fast paced and fun, and requires no brain power. But once you've played around 100 hands you've played them all. In poker every hand is different (or if not you can play it differently).

I used to play hold'em like a fiend- recentlly got back into it.

i play hold em and omaha, online and in casinos. Ive made some money at it, but never too much. Im thinking about hitting the WPT to see if i can make it. I doubt it but u never know right.

I used to know how but have forgoten

Holdem, omaha hi/lo, omaha, badugi, online at vc poker, i started a thread about this ages ago but in a different forum i think :)

There are some variants to euchre I know which make them quite challanging.
