I don't know if this has been discussed anywhere already, but if you have seen the new tech tree of BNW (click here otherwise), you can see that the Guilds technology now unlocks 5 features, which is max for one tech. There is no place for the Polder on that screenshot, so does anybody know if the Polder will be unlocked somewhere else or if all technologies will be modified to fit 6 new unlocks?

That screenshot of the tech tree is old. For instance, Bronze Working reveals Iron now.
That being said, isn't the Polder unlocked at Economics?

That particular tech tree is a bit outdated now, but Polders were definitely unlocked at Guilds - Economics upgraded them. It could be that it's just not showing it because of the large amount of unlocks in that tech (which would be a bit sloppy). Another (unlikely) option would be that polders are now available from the start, which would be more than enough for people who want a Dutch buff :p

The fact that each tech can only show 5 features is purely a graphical one. There can be more features attached to one tech. If I'm not mistaken, in the current tech tree, there's actually a "6th" ability at Education which you just can't see (or maybe that was only in a mod I played?). Anyway, what will most likely happen is that one of the star icons is simply not shown.

Because there's nothing about Polders in any of the Expansion2 folder, I'm lead to believe Polders will remain the way they are, but it is bit strange though.

Polders is not a star icon though - it's a little Windmill, like how all other UIs get a special icon. A bit strange if they'd skip that.

Guilds have the Artist's Guilds, The East India Company, The Macchu Picchu, the Wealth and the the Trading Post unlocked, with the introduction of A.G it means that Polder has no space to appear on the list, which is what we're discussing right now.

It would make sense to move Wealth to Currency :| would it not?

Polders don't show up on the tech tree at all unless you're playing as the Dutch, and those screenshots were taken while Zac Minor was playing as Morocco, I believe.

I was just about to write this. I believe we have a winner.

EDIT: Oh, I misunderstood. I assume they'll just cram the polder picture in there. :P

The point is though that there's no room for a 6th icon on the tech tree, and since there's also 5 on Guilds...yeah.

Or trading post ... Currency = trading, after all.

Well, no. Currency is a medium for exchange, but it's not the only one. You can barter without coins, for example.

No, UI icons for every civilization show up for everyone, as you might conquer an area that has them. In the picture linked, Feitoras are shown at Navigation, too.

No, they don't. I put in the Feitoria icon in that image myself. Unless you're Portugal, you can never build a Feitoria and so you won't see the Feitoria unlock icon. What does show up for everyone are any modifiers to the UI's; you can never build a Feitoria if you're not Portugal, but you can capture one and so you'll still see any applicable modifiers.
