Piernik,

Is the mod available in pieces? In other words, can I take the Leaderhead stuff without the rest? If not, do you have it set up so that we can add it as a new civ without replacing an existing one?

You can download this one and then install it on a different folder (not civ3 folder) You will have leaderheads files there.
And yes this mod replaces another civ.

How to add it as a new civ? I can't do that.

You can easily add new civs with the editor came with the 1.29 patch.

BTW, don't you mind if i use this great stuff for my Europe mod(s) in the future? With credit to you, authors of course.

Anyway as i can see the mod is just awsome! At last we have a good (central)-eastern european nation! :goodjob:

I was wrong... sorry. In this mod we have added Poland;)
I thought about previous version... sorry;)

Hagen: I have to ask authors (I made graphic only)... so give me time;)

Err, in case you've misunderstood Piernik (and that's quite possible, we had a discussion about that about a minute ago :)) he was only refering to the possibility of viewing the leaderheads, not using them in another project. We don't permit the use of any part or of the entirety of this mod at the time.

Wow I just downloaded it and the opening is really good. It's worth downloading. I haven't actually tried to play with the Polish yet so I don't know if it will have some sort of problems or errors ,but Piernik has done some fine work from what I have seen so far. If you were looking for Poland as a Civ you should check this out.

I didn't want to use in another project...just for personal use. I had already created a Polish civ via the editor and downloaded a Hussar unit from this board. I just wanted to use the leaderhead images (to replace my current use of the Xerxes leaderhead) without wiping out the other stuff I've already done.

Piernik: thanks.

Is it just me, or anyone else noticed that in the modern era pic Kazimir looks like Eddie Jordan a bit. ;)

Why to create a new mod when this one is fully operational:)

Because besides adding Poland, I've added some other civs as well. I want all of my new civs to be available when I play. If I just use your mod, I'm limited to just Poland plus the civs that came with the game.

Piernik: He is the head of a Formula 1 team, called Jordan team. Just cut modern Kazimirs hair, and make his eyeglasses rectangular... - they are twins.

Well, maybe it's just my oppinion. Here is the irish gentleman:

JBearIt: You can change only *.bic file (scenario) in civ3edit.
You will have leaderhead and unit... But you have to be careful with unit_32.pcx file (it's responsible for unit's icon in a city view)

Hagen: Pretty close;)

I know, I was trying to keep the description simple. In reality, to make additional civs work I need to not only make changes with the editor but also various art files, the diplomacy text, pediaIcons, etc. My point is that I have done all of that already and everything is working just fine. It's just that currently I am using the Xerxes art to represent Casimir. I want to add your leaderhead images to the mix so that the Xerxes art can go back to being used for just Persia's leader instead of both Persia and Poland.

So you can replace flc files but you can use it just for your own personal use, not give it to internet - sorry:)

You've got to be kidding...
I've made this leader in 3D program so I had to make all by my self.
