Polynesia and netherlands colour change?

Wha-huh? What do Mayans spawning near Persians have to do with the matching color schemes of civilizations

Anyway, Huns are not Mongolians, he's talking about the HUNS.. not the MONGOLIANS.

Japanese and HUns.. ya know.. one of the new 9 civs?

My bad. I thought that the huns were gray or something trashy like that?

But, I do hate that each civ's 'logo' retains the same old colour scheme. I know there is a way to change that, because if there are two of the same civ in a game, it gives one a different colour scheme, even replacing the logo. I just don't know how to mod that.

But when the game auto-replace the logo, it just throws a recolored icon over a recolored circle. It removes the gradient, the screen and these kind of effects. I don't know how it does that, though.

The only way I know to recolor the logos is manually, with an image editor. It's fairly simple, but then we have to convert it into a DDS file, and the image completely loses the quality... :(

Back on topic, I believe I'll be taking Ethiopia for barbarians all the time...

Question what will happen to polynesia border colour or in better words what colour will polynesia borders be since netherlands now have polynesia's border colour. Because both have orange and yellow orange for border yellow for city.
Really? Are you surprised that they decided the Netherlands' colours to be orange-white?

Come on, you must have expected that months ago ;)
I doubt they'll change Polynesia's colours as well: the orange-yellow colour gives a kind of exotic display, which totally fits Polynesia.
And the grey-black colour of Germany fits them completely as well, since Germans are colourless :P Really lol, drive on the Autobahn and the only car colours you'll see are black, grey, silver and white. Besides the joke, I really do think it fits them and never bothered it. And I do play Germany sometimes.

There are a couple that are similar. The Netherlands' colors make sense, so I don't mind it. I also don't mind Germany because they've been given gray colors for awhile and it fits well with their charcoal Iron Cross and other symbols they've used over time.

What I don't get are the couple of basically random civ colors (things like Carthage without a strong color affiliation) that look very similar to others (Carthage and Germany). I personally would have given Carthage the baby blue they gave to Byzantium and made the Byzantines red with purple. But I don't think this is a huge deal overall. There are tooltips if it's confusing.

I believe the  should be directed at you, good sir. So... *ahem*

Aw god darn it.. people seriously need to stop using CiV and CIV it's WAY TO CONFUSING!! Just liekt he borders issue :D

I withdraw my complaint. At least Civ 5 has TWO colours that are easier to recognize.
