Popups IN the forum?!

It seems like just today, I started getting popups within the forum... that sucks, I don't want to look at these stupid Mellow Yellow ads evrey time I move in the forum. It seems like the popups here are finally worse than 'poly.

I don't get any pop ups in the forum, just on the main page.

I get advertising from a norwegian game magazine... And have been getting them since September. They appeared every time i opened a thread or forum.

Now i use Popup-stopper, but i can still see the damn things before they are automatically closed down.

I am getting flooded with these pop-up today.

Will someone please then them OFF!
If I didn't want soda the first pop-up, I certainly don't want it the 10th time!

I'm catching them too, after a morning of not seeing one inside the forums.

I only get them on the main page, too... And, my AdAware did catch one spyware ad...

Didn't experience a single pop-up here. Though the forums are painstakingly slow...

I get no pop up or banner ads whatsoever!

I use Netscape 7.01.

And I'm popup free.

Every once in a while it occurs for me, but usually when I close the window. Strange...

Are you sure you're not infected by one of those spyware ad programs that inserts banners and pop ups into any web page that you visit?

I get a popup (the one about a Norwegian computer magazine) every single time I click one a thread or a forum. I know that it's not because of some spyware, since I run ad-aware weekly, and since all Scandinavians (or at least all Swedes) seems to get themm. It was really annoying for a while, but now that I got a popup stopper programm, I don't really care all that much anymore.

Maybe you were running Kazaa at that time? That program displays popup ads once in a while...

I doubt that it would be Kazaa as I didn't think it would display the same advert and not as regularily as it seems to bve happening to some members.

I used to get pop ups in the forum occasionally but I haven't seen one in a really long time.
