Portal 2!!

I guess I'll be the skeptic, then. The humor needs to take some kind of twist before it gets old really fast. I don't think adding overgrowth to the complex changes the atmosphere enough. I don't see any critical gameplay alterations so it feels like this is just going to be an expansion pack than anything else.

Still waiting for Half Life 2: Episode 3

"You monster" haha

I can't wait!

My excitement is indescribable in its excitedness

if it was literally the same as the first game, just with a slightly different story line and new levels, i would be overjoyed.

There wasn't enough actual game play shown, and I only like the originals humor sometimes, but didn't think it was some brilliant masterpiece of storytelling.

Basically I liked the first portal, but felt like it was a fancy tech demo that ended half way through the tutorial.

Ooh, those gels look fun.

The complexity that all of this adds is almost giving me brain damage just looking at it. I'm not sure I'd actually have fun playing this! I liked Portal 1's quirkiness and all, but it did give me literal head aches and I wasn't sure I was enjoying it at the end. It just puts knots into my brain.

It wasn't difficult per say. Most of the time I knew what I had to do. I guess I shouldn't have played through it in one evening because towards the end I had a head ache and it was kind of unpleasant to figure out.

My favorite part was figuring out what I had to do in Portal, it usually wasn't too hard, just the right challenge. The painful part was setting up to do it and figuring out the coordination required. Portal 2 seems to put more emphasis on the setup and coordination and the part that was frustrating for me. But honestly, I'm not sure what else they could have done, they had to reinvent themselves somehow. I'm sure it'll be a great game, but I don't think I'm in a rush to play it. If I do, I'll have to do it in small doses... Once in 5$.

Well, the character-roster certainly seems to have improved. I liked the bits where that little fellow was trying to hack into the database while GlaDoS slowly woke up and greeted you. :crazyeye:

That said, I may get the game at some point where it'll be less expensive, and when I get a new PC.

Well keep an eye out for any weekend deals on Steam after Portal 2 comes out. ;)
