Poser

I want to start making units using poser... i've made a decent amount with flicster (nothing too great) but there are tons of fantasy style units im dying to make and i'd rather have something more like poser to do it with... can anyone send me in the direction of how i can get started with using poser and stuff? is it incredibly difficult and not worth getting into or is it easy enough once i get the hang of it?

heh speaking as one just in the process of learning Poser as well, I wish you luck. Here are a couple places for some good tut's tho.

This thread was made by Kinboat. I used it to learn how to set up Poser for making units. You'll still need to practice animating and what-not, but this should give you a good start.

Actually I have a new setup file for Poser that I think gives better shadows (closer to the civ original). I'm uploading it now to that tutorial.

I have Poser 4, and would love to start using it to make some units too... I'll be looking at the tutorials too... but at this stage I'm just trying to set-up Flicster!
