I don't have a saved game to display this, because at the time I didn't think much of it. I'm playing an Earth-18 Civs Prince game on Marathon. I completed the UN in January 1888. The first election for Secretary General did not produce a winner (lots of nations were mad at both of the two candidates.)
It's now January 1918, and there hasn't been an election since. (I got a Cultural Victory in January 1903, but I don't recall UN elections stopping after a victory.)
Does the game put elections on hold if there are ongoing wars? I just find it odd that there haven't been any elections at all in some sixty turns.
