Post a picture of your empire

I have 52749992 more people than him but he has 115600 square miles more than I do but the demographics are a bit off

Oops, wasn't paying attention. He has less population...

Although his people have more kids and earn more money per capita.

I was not really pushing this for score, it was a fun game, not a hall of fame run. Most of my farm areas should have been ICS'ed, not CxxC, and I was also just screwing around. I was surprised at how well it went. If I had been playing with the nets up, this would have been a much higher scoring game. Oh and this pangaea was probably 30-40% jungle, so I had a lot of chopping to do.

Played though the Napoleonic Wars conquest scenario and I have to say it was pretty fun (For about 60 turns or so the English Channel was a big naval battle). I should have conquered more but I was at war with everyone but Denmark and the Ottomans for most of the game. I sent Davout to conquer Naples while Napoleon went to Amsterdam to take care of the Dutch but just as I was finishing up in Naples Britain sighed a huge coalition force against me(Spain, Prussia, Austria, the Ottomans and the Swedes). There was heavy fighting on 4 fronts and we were at a deadlock until I got the Russians on my side and sighed for peace with the Ottomans and Spanish (for alliances against Austria and Portugal). Me and Russia ripped apart Prussia while my allies kept the rest of the horde at bay but just as Prussia was on its last legs the British made another coalition against me, everyone but the Ottomans joined it ~facepalm~

So I divided my forces and sent 2 armies to deal with Russia 1 to the Iberian peninsula and 1 to Austria, I was also starting to prepare to invade Britain herself while I was busy elsewhere. I pushed the Russians out of Prussian then sent my 2 Armies south into Austria and it fell under the pressure but the Iberian peninsula was being very difficult.
When I got a MGL there then the tides turned just as I launched my invasion force to London. I had to assemble my armies there (2 of them) but London was not going to fall to 2 armies so I sent another army over and took Portsmouth instead. This is the French Empire at the end of the game on the last turn, I took Cardiff and Corunna that turn and was going to finish Prussia on the following turn but I got Victory Point win on the last turn.

Piece of Advise: Don't bother invading Britain. They're too damn strong.

Playing as France is rough because of the dogpile effect, so nice victory:thumbsup: Try to win as England, now that is really difficult, because you have to beat France and at least one other major country.

Not really, London is insane but there other cities have small garrisons. I think they had 16 Redcoats and 2 Lifeguards in London  If I had 20 more turns Britain, the Iberian Peninsula, and Sweden would have been dealt with. Playing England wouldn't be so bad because your units are second only to France in power and you have an ally and a foot hold for a war on Spain.

Well, okay, you'll get Portsmouth, but you'll never get farther than that.

My advise on order of killing people:

1. Kill the Netherlands in the first 5 turns
2. Naples
3. Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar
4. Steamroll through Prussia and Austria
5. Invade Russia, hopefully fare better than real-world Napoleon
6. If you haven't won yet, invade Ottomans.

Just leave Britain alone, it's far easier to conquer the mainland.

@Overseer: Indeed- it's impossible to invade France, as just like AI Britain, they're too strong. The AI unimaginably overuses the "Draft Citizen" button in this scenario.

If you do play as Britain or France, a good strategy is to, on turn 0, trade the tech you have that no one else has to everyone else and get a huge coalition against your enemy, plus enough gold to upgrade all your musketmen. This is especially necessary for France, as you want to be able to fight wars when you want to fight wars, not when Britain gets the rest of Europe to declare war on you.

As for when you're Britain, the AI is so bad at invading across water that defense is almost pointless.

I remember that scenario. I also Remember going 0% Research and Rushing Armies

Just because I could I conquered Britain :mischief: It took forever though but I eventually did get rid of every last one of them.

All of Britain? It looks like Denmark stole Wick from you. :smug:

I gave Sweden and Wick to Denmark so I could Jump my armies back to my capital(I decided to give all of Sweden to them because they are my loyal min....um ally).

With nukes in play, things must be a bit rough. You know, nukes tend to be sent at resource towns, so if the resource isn't hooked up, they won't hit that town again. This game must take alot of work, is this a super huge map?
