No. Thats Rhye's and Fall of Civillization mod. Cities can't be built on desert, tundra, forest, jungle, or plateau.
The above one is The Rise and Fall of the Mughal Empire.
The equivalent of spaceship. Its won when certain resources are acquired, opium and ivory I think, and then the Jewel in the Crown can be built.

I think a star wars mod for civ would be sweet. Seriously, why haven't we thought of that already? Anyway, I've converted to the dark side LONG ago.

My mistake!
It is the year 1900 AD in the game I am currently playing. In the past 50 years since my last map, I've fought a lot on the Old World, and gained, oh, 50 cities, maybe, and killed a few of the 8 civs that have been destroyed between 1850 and now (3 were killed by Russia, Egypt, and Zululand).
By now, it's to the point where I'm assured victory, and now I just have to choose how I want to win.
Definately not culture, it's too late, and also not Diplomacy- I'm currently at war with Russia, Egypt, India, Portugal (Stupid Henry betrayed me!
), Zululand, Rome, and Spain, more than half of the 12 remaining (including me) civs. 
But, then again, half the AI's in the game are also at war with 7 civs, and Japan's at war with everyone but me and Russia (It's a wonder nobody has killed them yet), so I guess I'm not doing as bad as I thought.
Anyway, here's the world in 1900 AD:

Nah, I just messed with Double Your Pleasure RAR a bit, so it would work on a huge Earth map. I did drop marsh, like I have in INEMONH, so I could actually manage to get through a game on my beloved 362x326 map. It seems to work reasonably well, I have another RAR game on this map as the English that's into the Modern Era, and turn times are still only a few minutes at most.
Because Vientiane is where I put their start location at.
The Bangkok/Rangoon mixup is just that. I goofed.
It's RAR.Cheezy has been talking about it for days in chat.
True story.
