I don't know what the problem is then maybe you should upload the save file that would be helpful.

I installed the complete game on another (better) computer, and the file also failed, so I know its not my computer specs.

As I set it up to upload, I noticed that the file size is much smaller than the other games Ive had....

I am looking for a huge/giant earth map for BTS version 3.17 with ALL CIVS in there correct starting positions.

I wanted to use Giant Earth Map, but as far as I can see, some of the civilizations have been changed. I do not want this.

Can anyone help me?

A clean version of the GEM map has been requested. (Not sure yet if Genghis_Kai will do that though. Maybe if more people request it on the GEM mod forum.) World 2008 mod could use one too.

I was wondering if someone would like to make me a large-sized map of Planet, based off of Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. I know someone made one for Civ III, but I couldn't find anything for Civ IV. I run Vanilla 1.61, if that's important.

I have looked high and low for a good small sized earth map, with a normal size europe, and a reasonable number of starting civs distributed evenly over the map (so one or maybe two european civs max). A map for maybe 7ish civs or thereabouts. Must be BTS.

I would like to see the huge Europe map you get in vanilla, updated to work with 3.17 and Rise of Mankind, with no pre-placed civs, everytime i try and use the one on vanilla i get an error message

Hello All!

Is there such a thing as a map (BtS) with no or limited modern resources? Also, I was imagining the main area (possibly comprised of 4 close-together islands) consisting of little land but many resources (gold etc., but NO horses), and with two separate (distant) islands arranged around these with lots of land but poor resources (but WITH horses).

I was also thinking there could be at least one island that is completely or almost completely isolated from the rest of the civs, possibly by a ring of mountains? This wouldn't be much fun if you were stuck there, but it would be interesting to stumble upon the relatively undeveloped tribe that would end up living there! Some more modern resources could be located here also.

If no one can help I will get on with making one myself, and will upload it ASAP!

I'd like to see an Earth map using Fuller's Projection. Ideally, it would be equal to the Gigantic map size in XXL Mod or larger (in terms of number of tiles, not exact map dimensions).
