Post new Civ requests here

Thanks for the help Qui-Kelle. I've tried this mod before but each time i downlaod the XX mod its as a .rar file and not .zip. So what should I do
 
yeah, 7zip is really easy to use and install, and you really should get it, as most of the mods here require it to extract the files. You'll be able to do a lot more!
 
whenever i load up the xx mod, all of the leaders except 3 are just pink squares and there is no leaderheads. How can I fix this.:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: Also a few of the technologies are pink squares and lastly the flag is plain white.

P.S. Is there anyway to play a regular game of civ where i start in the ancient age instead of the year 1900. Or maybe if there's a way to take the leaders from the XX Mod and just add them to the regular startup. Please help me. I'm new at this whole concept of customization.:blush: :blush:
 
-The "XX Century Mod 3" is for warlord, "XX Century Mod (v2.11)" is vanilla version(also "XX Century Mod v2.11 mini update");
-Did you copy XX - Full.CIV4WORLDBUILDERSAVE into Sid Meier's Civilization 4 main folder\Public Maps and,
-I think that you can't start earlier (it is xx century mod).
 
Thanks it works now. But is there any way I can get Tito from this mod into a scenario that starts in the ancient age. I just want to be able to have this guy as my leader. Also is there anyway I can create this myself. Through some freeware programs or something. I dont even know how to create my own scenarios. It seems i can only enter worldbuilder through a started game. Please HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!::sad: :sad: :sad:

I have extracted it to the correct folder warlords/mods

I load the game, i choose advance, game reloads to load the mod.
What do i now select to receive all the new civilizastions? :S

If the mod is loading but the civs aren't showing up, check to see if you have an extra folder.

You should have:

....Warlords\Mods\Amra's modpack

But you might have:

....Warlords\Mods\Amra's modpack\Amra's modpack

That's a common mistake.

Make Sure that there isn't an extra folder in between the Mod folder and the "Assets" folder. This is something that I struggled with at first too. Go to the "Mods" folder, click on the folder for Amra's Modpack, and then right there you should see the Assets folder and .INI files. If there's another folder in between, Civ can't find the necessary .INI files or the Assests, so no new civs, units, buildings, or game changes will actually make their way into the game!

You want your file directory to read something like:

Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Mods\Name of Mod\(Assets folder and .INI files should be here)

NOT:
Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Mods\Name of Mod\Amra's Modpack (or any other extra folder)\(Assets folder and .INI files here)

Try it! Hope this helps!

For Wyz_sub10, there's some kind of bug with Brule warrior (UU-Sioux), in Civ Gold3, I can't build it(result: Sorry for inconvence... Don't send). I haven't had any problems before.

That may have to do with the prereqs. That'll be corrected for 4.0, and I'll look into it for 3.0 patch.
 
maybe the mighty west african kingdom of benin might be a prospect for future addition because if you think about it the zulus were a small kingdom without a stable form of government, unlike larger benin(not to be confused with the country) which had an oba and council of chiefs and many foreign relations, and whos brass carvings are known throughout the world even to today. It was and still is(altough part of nigeria) situated in southwestern nigeria. and the culture fluorished from 800 a.d. to the present day where the kingdom is still intact although not nearly as powerful as before. The leaderheads for Esigie and Idiah can be based on theire famous bronze carvings. An alright leaderhead for Ewuare and general information are availible from civ army's benin mod but the cities UU are highly inaccurate and are intertwined with the neighboring Oyo empire. was a famous native doctor's house and meeting place for elders and the oba himself where important deliberations were made. The current Benin mod isn't for Warlords or BTS.
