Breaking the existing alliance between Clovis I of the Franks and good old King Olaf without any warning, or even caring to respond to the emissaries of King Clovis I, this new and dishonoured king of the Goths launched a cowardly attack to the less protected Frankish cities, exploiting the fact that the Frankish armies were fighting and converting barbarians in far away lands.

Let such dishonoured and treacherous behavior to be a warning to all the other kingdoms!

Clovis I also appeal to all the other kingdoms to fight a crusade against this treacherous being!
