I know that there is no Time Victory in this game, but i noticed there is a turn limit of 750 turns. What happens after 750 turns if no-one has reached any Victory conditions? Its a tie?

As we are already 1/3 of the way through the game, i suppose its about time to start killing each other like crazy, otherwise no winner..

If there is a limit, I guess the one with the highest Civ score at the end will win... if no one reaches another victory prior to that!

well, you can check it, but the Settings screen told me that there is a 750 turn limit.

I guess there will be no victory screen then, unless someone gets another type of win - which seems unlikely.

I did check it as I was almost sure I didn't tick the time victory... and I didn't tick it... but there is another section which says "time limit" when you start the game and I put a number different from the default... I must admit I do not know what the impact will be... we will find out in 500(?) turns...

So we do not have a time victory but have a 750 turn limit...

I think thats ok - we have only played something like 76 turns so far.

Still 500 turns is a lot so many things can happen in that period of time! And we have more than 500 so... plenty of time for the killing!

Daniel (the Goths) asked me to inform you that he will only be able to play from 1st December. Till then, we'll have a break.

Other players have taken time "off" but all were able to find temporary replacements... it's a matter of respect for the other players...
