post your top 3 fav civs for civ4

C'mon people! Canada and Cuba are not civilizations. Especially Cuba. No offense. It was thrown into CTP (or whatever game it was in) because a developer was from there. I don't really hate the idea of Canada, but i'd rather see Brazil or Argentina before Cuba.

I agree with you on the Cuba thing, but by that argument you could exclude america. I think Austrailia and Canada have developed enough away from their origins to be considered their own civilisation. The aborigines are a good idea though.

the 3 most obvious:

Rome

China

Egypt

You can't call the game Civilization without these three, that's for sure, amigos! ;)

1: geordies*

That would be marvellous. In fact, it would be an easy swap - Geordies instead of English. You could also conquer the Mancs, Scousers and the rest of those soft southerners! :p

And we all know what CTP was like... :vomit:

BTW, what on earth are Geordies?

Geordies are from Newcastle, England and tend to wear t-shirts and shorts while it's snowing. Indecipherable dialect. Thoroughly deserving their own civ! :p They would be awesome warmongers. Toon Army! :wallbash:

I think Canada's UU should be an upgraded warior armed (2.1.1) with a hockey stick - extra movement on tundra. Call it a Bertuzzi.

How can we have the Aborigine and Maori? UU's? Traits? Come on...

Not sure about Maori, but Aboriginis would have the Boomerang thrower (archer).

I'm not sure if the aboriginis actually considered themselves as a civilization. They were more like villages. Not united and yet still friendly with others, not so much to some. But I guess that in the game they could become a civ. I like the idea of boomerang throwers, but what would the traits of the Aboriginis be? I can't seem to figure any out.
