Posting in non black

Recently I've seen a poster (Manverulin) who is posting everything in blue. I just wondered whats the ruling on this as are colours just meant to be used to make certain parts of a post stand out or is allowed to post entire posts in a particular colour. I guess it probably isn't as if everyone started posting in different colours then the forum would look a little different.

So whats the offical view and what does everyone else think, also its probably best if everyone who replies to this thread posts in a different colour...

Quite often, the colors don't match well with the background, like Dell's last post, and it becomes very hard to read and is bad for the eyes. Some colors are easier though, like dark blue, but black is the easiest. There was another poster who did that too, and he settled for posting in dark blue after complaints...

I think there at least should be a rule against some colors.

I don't mind colors, but I agree that some people can take them overboard.

IMHO it depends very much on the color. Blue is ok, but neon green or pink look horrible.

I find it very annoying.

But I am a big advocate of colors in sigs. That should stand out. I've used 660000 forever.

PS - Did you know its the mod color as well?

I'm annoyed by reading entire posts in non-black (unless it's to make a point), even if it IS easily readable. I mean, just think if you were to read a novel and all of a sudden the text turns to blue. Not good.

But that's just me, and I guess people should be allowed to post in all the crazy colors they want.

Posting in white,yellow,or this should not be allowed except for small parts of posts, like one word for emphasis.

I do think that non-black writing can be a tad annoying
didn't mean to piss anyone off with that, just that id go along with the topic of the thread.
Oh yeah its much more annoying than that when there are paragraphs on end like that, and even moreso when each letter is different.
I also think that some colors should just be removed, ie. the ones that are just painful to try and read

If this come out as purple, it is not possible to remove colors, exept possibly from the menu.
