Pounder's Library

I think Flame is referring to the glass found after a nuclear detonation and is called Trinitite.

EDIT: Fulgurites are glassy nodules produced by Lightning, Trinitite is glass produced by nuclear detonations. :)

Trinitite

And I sure could use a specialized terrain like that for the Fallout mod to. :D

:nuke: Cheers Thorgrimm :nuke:

I suppose so, though the picture is not exactly what I have in mind(I prefer the higher glass ratio than the higher silica ratio). I'll alter existing graphics for that look, but it's not like if someone like pounder did it.

I was thinking of this for a long time, while Wasteworld was in the cradle, and because reports about Mohenjo Daro and similar in India and other sites, fascinated me since childhood.

Talk about nuclear explosions in ancient cities started around the 50's which would be interesting for a post-apocalyptic world that is heavily influenced by that era. Also, I'm sure that BM and his ancient India scenario could have use of that.

I guess I have to start somewhere, I'm not sure which file you are free to use, this could be moved to some Landmark file.

Not sure if you want them round or random shaped and weathered like I shown.

Like I said this is just a starting point, I'm sure you will give feedback.

For realism purposes I prefer them random. Weathered is nice. You could also possibly add bits of glass on top? And maybe an occasional shining?(Dunno, maybe a small star) to emulate sun reflection for the richer yellow areas?(the ones more glass would be concentrated)

I'll send you the tileset and the map i'm using so it might give you a better idea of how I'm using it. It willl basically be placed on desert tiles for variation, maybe the red tile version I also have too.

LM Forrests would be ok, I'm not using them in Wasteworld. I tried to e-mail you the files and the map but you can't receive emails. If you think it would help, pm me the email address and I'll send them.

Also have in mind that the tileset I'm using is something like 40% darker than the game one.
