Here is my first attempt at a tank/wheeled vehicle.
It is the Canadian Coyote light armored vehicle (or supposed
to be). While for the most part it would be a flavor unit
in the game, it could have its uses.

For example, you could make cheaper shield wise than a tank. give it a higher higher move rate, but much lower attack and defense rate. The back of the coyote opens like
a APC, so you could also allow it to carry a foot unit or two.

This unit is in its early stages, so its still a bit rough around
the edges, so all input at this stage of the game is
definatly do-able for the model.

After I finish this, I'm going to revise my Halifax Class
Frigate.

Here is a early picture of the model with pictures of the
real thing on the right.

To me the SW looks a bit wierd and I'm not to sure about the Civ Specific Colour on the 'bonnet' but other than that..... It looks Perfect.:)

Thanks :D I just exported some pictures of the angles real
quick to make the animation to post on the board, I haven't
spent much time working out what angles I want them at yet.
So I will for sure, take another look at SW angles.
The bonnet plate can be changed, I just figured it
was a good spot to plunk a civ color. I guess I could put
bars on the turret or even make the tire attached to the
front a civ color, your right though, it does sorta catch
the eye a bit to much there :)

Here is another newer model of it, for fun I threw some
camo on it (note the coyote doesn't have any camo, just
pure green). If you folks like the look of it, i'll make
2 versions of the coyote, one with the accurate pure green
and the other in camo.

I think the Civ colours on the turret are good. I like the camo. Personally you would of thought it would camo on in the first place. Amazing!

I love the camo version. The civ colorsa on the bonnet might work better if it wasn't such a rigid square. It just looks out of place. :) Maybe a line or chevron or something else. ?

Please do the camo version! And great work on the model!!!

but isnt the gun lil big??? It suppose to be a infantry support vehicle, or am I out of reach here???

It is a little big, but because of the size of the unit itself if you make it much smaller it blends to much into the base of the unit and its really hard to see (unless you make it a much brighter
color or much darker).

Here is a updated version, with different civ color markings
on the front, a bit less intrusive.

This is a cutie !
Isn't the front tire too high ? I think so.

And you definitly have problems with your color palette on the preview ! :D
Don't worry, it happens to everyone !

Go on !

OH YEAH! You guys continue to amaze me :crazyeye: I get so dizzy with all these awesome units. I never believed that with 3D, the artistic community would do this.

Finally, an armored amphibious assault vehicle or MAV, take your pick [dance]

Would anyone be interested in a snow camo
version as well? I threw on some snow camo
to the model and it looked pretty darn spiffy.
Figured i'd ask if anyone would like the inclusion
of a snow camo version of the Coyote. The regular
green version is for the most part finished, work
has started on the camo version animations. Going
to release them at the same time. Here is a preview
of the snow camo model

Oh wow, I love the camo version and the new civ colors look much better, but that snow camo version is incredible... It seems you're going to a lot of trouble though Doragon, but having different styles of the same unit will probably be great for mod makers and the likes. The definition of the unit seems a lot clearer too in this snoiw camo version. A plus to show off your work!
