Look at my sig... you see that top line? This should an image. I used the [img*], [/img*] (no * of course) properly, but it just gives me a link - instead of a picture! What could have gotten wrong?

Yep, you can't use pics in sigs (in case you didn't realize that Padma didn't really mean "maybe" ;)). Yes, that was sarcasm. hence the ;) smiley. --Padma

BTW, the link to your image isn't working. I guess it's because the file server is down.

Try putting "http://civfanatics.net" instead of the "www"

It probably won't work, but you can try. ;)

Ick, as if custom avatars didn't slow down the loading time, imagine pictures in sigs...:vomit:

You joined the forum a little too late, RAM. ;) We used to allow images in sigs when we were using UBB...

Alright, now I know :)
In my former forum I used sigs, I had this beautiful sig that someone made for me - it was a mix of a picture of two Merkava tanks and an attack chopper, mixed with the flag of Israel.
But I think I've lost it... :(

Zwelgje,

Your signature is too large and violates the forum rules. You can only have five lines in your signature regardles of how the are created. Yours has:

1) code label
2) line
3) underlines at top
4, 5, 6, 7) characters
8) line at the bottom

The reason for these rules is not to be mean, but just to help us focus on the content of the discussions instead of large expanses of cluttler. Just recognize that this is an attempt to try and be courteous. If you have cool images realte to your name, then put up a nice web page some where and include the link in your profile and/or signature.

Please pare your signature down to comply with the rule and do not encourage other posters to create clutter by pushing the limits of their signature privileges.

OK, sized it down...
I can't understand why you point this out to me now though, I've had a sig this big for months! I've even designed a similar sig for another poster who still has it (just scroll up...).

Please let me know if this is acceptable now.

I have now shrunken down the size of my sig too. :)

That's probably unrecognizable since you've changed your name. Liked your old avatar better as well btw.
