Example-
Lets say I'm building a Slinger while researching Archery. I have put in "X" amount of production into the build. Now I start building a Builder and leave the Slinger incomplete. While building the Builder, Archery is researched.
Now I cannot build a Slinger of course, but the production that I had already put into it is gone. I will have to put in full amount of production in the Archer.
