Proposal: New Civ3 Forum - "Dead Horses"

I would propose to the administrators to create a new Forum directory under Civ3 that would be appropriately titled: "Dead Horses".

That would allow you to then move any new threads in the General or Strategy forums that are re-runs of the following:

- Culture flipping sucks
- Spearman killed my tank! :aargh3:
- The AI is stupid (although new stupidities can stay in General)
- Guess what....the AI is cheating!
- Can someone tell me how to beat Monarchy (no details provided)?

Maybe something like this would encourage folks to keep only new stuff on the board, or search before they post (don't rat me out Killer...I'm doing this for you ).

Can you imagine anything more shameful than to have yourself immortalized as the creater of a thread in the "Dead Horses" forum.

dont forget to include "Why my civ should be included in Civ 3" or "Why my civ is better than your civ"

Although ever since the civlizations forum closed those have died down quite a bit.

i like the tank-killed-by-spear threads myself... as long as they have a savegame attached..... hmmmm, who was that who actually posted one



Oh, and I'd also advocate merging newbie Qs into the proper threads, then duplicating them in the dead Horse.... Would be fun to see an entire page:

"HELP! How can i see the 'other' civs????"
"Help needed!!!! How see other civs in F4??"
"Help me! I cannot see the civs I don't see!!!"
"Help! Can you see all 16??"
"Help!------

...

These sound mostly like Civ 3 things... maybe a Civ 3 sub-Forum, if a new Forum is made? I know it is pretty "busy" in the Civ 3 threads, LOL!!!!

Forums such as these have been suggested before, but rejected for many reasons.Therefore, the civ3 mods(whoever those are) will just have to nuke all inappropriate threads and merge similar threads. Not much else can be done.
