PTW Troubles

I bought myself a copy of PTW today and the darn thing won't install...well, it won't get past 7 percent of the install without giving me this error message:

Component Transfer Error
Component: Program_Files
File Group: Game Root Files [ENGLISH]
File: F:\data2.cab
Error: Incorrect Function

Now, I have returned the copy and got a second one and it still does this. Ack!

If the second one does the same, it could be a problem with the decompression utilities (the ones that are supposed to unpack the Cabinet archive files) on your computer.

Best advice I can give you is - reinstall Windows.. Yes I know that's probably not being very helpful, but this is just one of those annoying little bugs that can occur in windows and it could take you forever to find the real 'culprit'.
