PumaSNES1: For Real This Time

Precisely. But, shouldn't be hard... what year was it?

alrighty then, using new map, old rules without any objections, the year of the next update will be 800 CE and i'll try to work on it tomorrow, if not then sunday, hopefully by the beginning of next week we'll have this thing going again

Three cheers for Puma!

Did Constantine send orders for this update?

Great Honduras orders:
Raise Economy

BTW Im leaving tomorrow for a week but shouldent be put on NPC since im not guessing we will have 2 updates in a week but anyway if there is just keep raiseing econ

So, we should send in orders now, right?

by all means, act as though the turn 775 ce just posted and now you are all open to post for the turn 800, as for countries open, give first oppritunity to those indiviguals who had a country before incase they want it back, other than that, it's all fair game. after i find out who wants what country i'll change the nation screen

So all my enemies NPC? Oh well... I guss I can send orders just in case :)

ORDERS
Grow training. I have atleast 2 levels above everyone fighting me...
Continue wonder
Continue calling for JIHAD.
Send missionaris all across conquered lands to turn more and more people to Islam.
Continue being nice to people in Judea to have them in a stationed army only in there.
Build fortifactions also with Armenia. 3000 men keep ALL fortifactions while all of them are grown in size more and more to defende against any sized army.
Armies in north move south taking on the way teritories to add to egypt force.
In Egypt attack Thebes with full force and run over it. Make Egypt surrender and annex it, if they don't agree continue to the next city in the north with full power and than make them surrender by taking everything. All UU's march across Egypt into Tripoli frighting them to death in our training and might to MAYBE make them surrender.
Nothing changed :)

north king: well really just about anything, the byzantine empire is in the midst of major action, europe is really empty so the former player countries of britian or spain or bosnia are open, you could be the lombards a rebellious faction of byzantium, or head to the far east and be either Kearasut or Geystral, the Han or Jin Chinese, Japan is invading korea now, your choices are nearly limitless

EDIT: Changed my mind, can I take Siam or whatever nation encompasses Vietnam?

OOC: I remember reading in some update that the Canadian capital is "Constantinople". I'll assume it is.

Story:

The rule of the Constantinid Dynasty was great and prosperous - and, on the paper at least, uninterrupted. However, recently King Constantine XXIV the Pacific has passed away, and - alas! - no suitable heir was found. This was fairly unprecedented for the last few centuries, and what's worse it was known that one branch of the Constantinids still survived... but where this legitimate heir lived was unknown. Some would later claim that he never existed. Later, the heads of those who continued to claim so will roll at the hands of the heir's descendant, but that time would not come for many years.

For now, the Regency begun. The Council of Warlords (for in Canada, the only real aristocracy was a military one, Canada being an extremelly bellicose empire as it was) assembled to elect the Regent has been easily outguiled by one of them (the Warlords) - Jonathan Shade, a great general in the last war, who however was rightfully disliked for preffering an indirect approach in warfare, politics and diplomacy.

Which was basically why he won, and why the Black-and-Red banner of the Shade Clan was raised over Constantinople on January 1st 775 AD. The Warlords, who thought this too blatant an action, protested... but it turned out that they were actually powerless by now. Jonathan Shade commanded the Legionaries, and they were the strongest force in all of Canada. But his power was not based on military might alone, nor was it only reinforced by his reputation. No - he also had the backing of an increasingly-important "merchant" faction, which included not only merchants but generally people interested in Canada's economic health. The most prominent Warlord, after Shade ofcourse, was Patrick Berth, who knew nothing of economy and who wanted a new war with Canada's neighbours. But the sad truth was that Canada was too weak for a new war - yes, even with the Hurons, not to mention that the Hurons would definitely be assisted by the others. No, Canada needed peace. Canada needed continued trade with Hondus uninterrupted by any maritime warfare - whether with Honduras itself or with, without going far, the Sioux. Canada needed to become an economic powerhouse.

Canada was not ready for war, and Shade knew it. Thus propelled by army and merchants, by peasants and urbans, by his Clan and the how ever reluctant Warlords, Jonathan Shade became the Regent, and was to hold that post till the Return of the King.
