Actually I believe insults are ok in this time period mainly becuase of huge differences between Christians, Saracans and Pagans.

We do not understand why we need to give money to the Papal States to create an army to fight the Heathens, why not call armies from the Christian nations. If they are true Christians they will send what they can, and failing that they can always send money so we can hire mercianaries. (Christian ones of course.)
That being said, do not expect the cash this turn from Spain. But we are willing to offer our Bull Soldiers for the Holy War if needed.

Well, I am sure, most rubies are available if you want your armies to look pretty.
But the most commonly used minerals are Iron, metal, and even gold. But many nations use gold as a currency and you do not want to go broke trying to build a golden army.
For example my bull soldiers have, Iron swords, a iron shield with copper leg braces, and copper arm braces. With an iron helmet.

First of all, it would be way too expensive for you.
If you want to keep it, I'll make some changes to it, but it will still carry a hefty price tag.

My Bull Soldiers are like regular soldiers, but with one special difference. They are trained in the art of Roman Warfare, making them unique and very flexible.
So you can keep supplying your armies with the same weapons, but give your elite a better training section or better lesson in the Art of War by Sun Tzu.
