Why not make a dedicated Q&A thread to not get flooded with threads?

First one:

I'm playing civ 5 now for a while, but so far, I've not been able to sell a building.
How the hell do you do that?!

click on the city you want to sell the building in, then click on the building, then click yes.

More specifically, left-click on the city for the city screen and open the buildings and specialist buildings on the right hand side. Left-click on the icon of the one you want to sell and it will tell you what paltry sum of gold you'll get back (usually 40 or much less) and how much maintenance you'll save per turn. Confirm and you're done.

Note:
You can only sell one building per city per turn.
You can't sell wonders.
You can't sell zero maintenance specialist buildings, viz. market, bank, stock exchange.

Note also that you must be at patch .62 or higher; selling buildings was not in the original release version.

p.s. There's a Quick Questions & Answers topic pinned in the General forum.

This is the right answer then, was already not getting the fact that I can't sell buildings, first time I was unable to sell since civ 1 :P

Never noticed that topic, thanks!

Make sure you're online when you start the game, and the latest version, currently 1.0.0.621, will download automatically from Steam.

Select it and move it out of the city. Or use a ranged attacked from it. Or give it a heal order.
Why else would you want to un-garrison it?

If its out of movement points, you might not be able to select it.
But if its the next turn and it has movement points, then just click on the circle of the unit icon, and you can select it.

Moderator Action: That's right, that thread is for quick questions.
And this here is the strategy subforum, which is not meant for these sort of threads.
Please use the mentioned thread in general discussion.
